Tomorrow is Thursday, can you believe it?? I am really surprised that this week is going by so quickly....but that's probably partly due to the fact that I've been working so much. That tends to make the weeks go by faster. I normally would be looking forward to the weekend on fast weeks like this, but this weekend I am leaving for a business trip so that means more work for me. I don't really mind it...but I do like my weekends too.

I've been working really hard on my sister's blog lately. She's getting more and more readers, which means she wanted a "face lift' on her blog to help keep the interest of her subscribers and bring new readers in as well. I bought this new 46'' Vizio LCD TV a couple months ago and hadn't quite figure out all the features of it. Mainly the PIP (Picture in Picture), it is one of the main feature that I think that I would use, but couldn't figure it out. I have digital cable with a DVR and HD and using the HDMI cables I thought that I could just use regular cable for my PIP but I could get it to work. But finally I figure out that I needed to split the cable before the digital box instead of after. I have PIP!

I have been wanting to take a family vacation for quite some time now...but didn't know where to look. I happened to come across the Karisma Hotels recently though and was quite impressed! Tonight we're watching the movie Happy Gilmore, probably the greatest and funniest golf movie made. I just started golfing about 2 years ago and it's fun to watch the show and understand the frustrations that he has. I can't hit the long ball quite like that but I definately know how he feels when it comes to putting. What a great movie to spend my night watching.

After a busy weekend...I'm feeling exhausted. Last night I actually feel asleep at 10:00! That's really early for me. I couldn't believe it! I guess I really need to catch up on my sleep...because even after that long nights' sleep...I still am tired. In fact, right now I am struggling to stay awake. I may just have to take a short little nap and then make sure I get to bed at a descent time as well! I have another busy weekend ahead so I need to get rested.

I love my job. Even thought I'm not in the office, I still have the ability to do work from home. I get paid for it too. It's great! My brother and his family recently moved to the same town I live in. They lived in Texas for four years, so it's really nice to have them back. It's even better that they're so close...then I get to see them often. I love spending time with family...especially my little nephew. I'm glad they're here. I've already gotten to see them quite a bit and hope that it continues. Now I just wish the rest of the family would move here.haha

Summer is a time when I really like to get outside. Here int he midwest we don't get nice weather for very long....so when we do, we have to take advantage of it. I think golf is probably one of my favorite things to do. I need to practice though because I'd like to do even better. I golf with my dad and brother in law a lot who love golfing, so it would be nice to get up to their level. Can you believe it's already mid july though and we have only been out a few times! That's how cold and rainy the wather has been. YUCK!

Anyone who knows me, or has followed my blogs in the past...knows that I love cars! In fact, in the past few years I've had three. The one I have now is probably my favorite...however there are always things I want to do to update it a bit. Right now I'm looking at custom headlights. After that I will look into a different interior possibly...something to personalize it a bit. I definitely think the way this car is turning out that I'll have it for quite some time. That's a good thing because I don't need to be buying different cars every year...that's for sure.

I've always enjoyed blogging, but have never taken the time to really market myself very well. I recently decided that I wanted to increase the traffic flow to a few of my sites so i went looking for directories submission forms. I think this could be a good way to bring in a variety of readers and hopefully bring up my blog's ranking in the process. It can take a while to do so, but these directories are really supposed to help a lot. I'll let you know how it goes.

Is it really July?? I can't believe the cold weather we've been having lately. It was in the 60's which is pleasant for fall, but for summer I'd like warmer temps. My sister said she couldn't even take her daughter outside for too long without a long sleeved shirt or jacket...that's pretty bad when it's July. I'm hoping it warms up soon...it would stink if this is a sign of Fall already lurking around the corner.

I remember in the old job I had, I was used to wearing older tuxedo shirt. Now, with the job I have now...I have to dress up more. I like it a lot. I think I have every dress shirt there is...except a tuxedo shirt maybe...haha. I never thought I would enjoy dressing up everyday, but it's kind of fun. The only part I don't like is buying the clothes. Clothes like this add up very quickly. Thankfully I have a brother in law who is close to my size and he's given me a lot of the clothes he used to have with his old job. That helped a lot!

My sister has a Nordic Trak elliptical and just loves it! I'm not sure that I'm much of an elliptical kind of exerciser, but a regular treadmill would be awesome. I've been pricing them and they're actually not as bad as I thought they would be. Now I just need to find a spot for it in my place. Hoping to make some room in my spare bedroom. I'd love not having to go to the gym every day to work out. I think I'd probably exercise more this way too. treadmills would be a great investment I'm sure! Hoping to have one by the end of summer if possible.
