What do you think about diet pills? Are they something you would use? I've been debating for quite some time now on using something like Fastin, but can't decide if I should or not. I know so many people who try this sort of thing and really like it. I just don't know if it's for everyone or not though?!? I guess you'll never know unless you try it, huh?! I'm going to have do a bit more research and make sure it's the right choice for me. I definitely want to do what's best for me and my health.

Summer is a time when I really like to get outside. Here int he midwest we don't get nice weather for very long....so when we do, we have to take advantage of it. I think golf is probably one of my favorite things to do. I need to practice though and maybe get the best golf training aid because I'd like to do even better. I golf with my dad and brother in law a lot who love golfing, so it would be nice to get up to their level. Can you believe it's already mid june though and we still haven't been out at all! That's how cold and rainy the wather has been. YUCK!

I've been working really hard on my new blog. It's still coming along and soon I will direct you to it! My sister has also been asking me for some help in designing her new blog. She's a new mom and would love to start up a blog about parenting and all that goes along with being a new mom that stays at home. Needless to say, I've been very busy working on these blogs the past couple of weeks.

I'm going to need to get to bed earlier tonight. We've been so busy and going so early in the morning everywhere that I'm truly exhausted. I need a good nights rest or the rest of this week I will be dragging. Tomorrow is another long day of walking around D.C. so it's important I'm rested and have my energy back. We're still hanging out, but hopefully soon will head back to the motel and kick back for the night. I always say that...but tonight I'm serious...I will definitely be hitting the pillow early!

My brother-in-law was just telling me how much he'd like to have a new plasma television down in his basement. I was just thinking about it today...can you believe it's already more than halfway through June? I can't believe how quickly the summer is going by already! WOW!! Crazy how quickly time goes by! It's a little depressing too...where I live we don't get a lot of warm weather...so the few months that it is warm...it's nice if it would slow down a bit! I guess there's really nothing we can do about it, so we'll just have to enjoy each day before winter comes again!

My sister and sister-in-law had their first babies just days apart. Now, almost two years later, they are due with their second babies just days apart. It's very exciting for our family. One of the most fun parts about being here on vacation is getting to spend time with my little nephew. It's been a while since I've seen him and he's grown SO much! He's such a lovable and fun little guy. I can't believe that he will be 19 months soon! Wow...it seems like just yesterday we were receiving the news that he was born. Now, 19 months later here we are...with his parents expecting their second baby. Pretty exciting!

I got into golfing last summer, and am so excited that it's getting nice out and almost time for another golfing season to begin. I mean, the season has officially begun...but where I live it needs to warm up a bit more before we can get out there as much as we'd like. I'm looking forward to getting my game better and just enjoying a hobby that I can do with Family and Friends! My dad and I were actually hoping we could do a little golfing while here...but with so much family around we probably won't. We'd rather spend time with them instead.

I love my job. Even though I'm not in the office, I still have the ability to do work from home. I get paid for it too. It's great! I especially enjoy working on the weekends because then I get paid even more. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect position. I love what I do and all the benefits that come along with it. I hope to continue with John Deere for a very long time! They're a wonderful company. Although I do love my job...this vacation has been nice too. Everyone needs time away to relax, right?!

Wow...today has been very eventful. We kind of got off to a late start...but now we're thankful we did...as there was a shooting at the Holocaust Museum just minutes before we got there. If we had left on time we probably would have gotten there before the shooting and may have found ourselves in a bad situation. I feel so badly for the people who did have to witness this...as well as for the man who died saving other people's lives. The shooter is still in critical condition and doesn't sound like a very nice man from what the news is telling about him. It's odd to be here right after it happened. There are all kinds of news crews and police officers everywhere.

Paintballing is something I haven't done in a while. I think it would be fun to get back into though. Here on vacation we've talked about going and playing, but haven't found a good place yet. So far the vacation is going very well. Today we spent a very long, but fun day in Philly and yesterday in NYC! That was probably my favorite place so far. I'd never been there and there are just so many things to see. What's neat is you see or hear of all these things on the news or in movies all the time and it's so neat to actually see them in person. I've been taking lots of pictures and hope to post some soon. Can't wait to head to Washington DC tomorrow!

I haven't had the chance to sit down and chat with my brother in quite a while. This vacation has been a great time to do that. He was telling me all about his new job position that he starts in July. They're moving closer which will be great. I can tell he's a little stressed with all the moving...but I'm sure it will go smoothly for them. He and his wife are organized and will get it all done. I even did some looking for him and found some discount moving boxes they could use. Moving can get expensive...so finding ways to save money where you can is really important. I'm sure that overall they're just looking forward to being moved and getting settled.

I am in Philly and SO happy to be on vacation. The stresses of life were getting to me and I'm just happy to be on vacation with the fam for a few days! Actually a whole week!!! This is great. We're going to head to New York, Washington DC and then my brothers graduation from Drexel for his Masters. Pretty exciting time. I'm really looking forward to a great week. I hope it doesn't go by too quickly.
