Wow...what a busy weekend. I moved into my new condo this weekend....and although I'm very excited...it was sure a lot of work! We went through so many things, throwing away old papers and things I will never need or use again. I also took a big box of clothes to Goodwill. I realized in moving that I have WAY too many clothes. Unfortunately I can't say the same for shoes though...I hardly have any. I'm going to look around for some Dansko shoes and see what I can find!

Maps on iPhone 3G combines GPS, Wi-Fi, and cell tower location technology with the Multi-Touch interface to create the best mobile map application ever. I use this to find eating places, and shops and know that others can benefit from this like me.

AT&T is in the process of doubling the capacity of its HSPA 3G network from 3.6Mbps to 7.2Mbps on the downlink. The upgrades are possible through software upgrades to its networking equipment. AT&T is actively testing the enhancements in two separate markets before rolling them out further. It is also certifying devices to run at the faster HSPA speeds. According to Scott McElroy, AT&T Mobility vice president of technology realization, the company will likely skip upgrading its HSPA network to 14.4Mbps and jump right to HSPA+, which can operate at 21Mbps. In addition to these capacity upgrades, AT&T is also expanding its 3G network into its 850Mhz spectrum to improve range and penetration.

A vacation sounds absolutely wonderful right about now! I've been so busy with all this moving and condo stuff that I haven't had time to just relax. Once I get moved I'm really thinking I need a vacation to the Outer Banks or something. The weather is getting nicer and it would be fun just to take a few days on my own from work and relax. Everyone needs that now and again, right?!? I guess if I don't end up getting to go anywhere, June will be here soon and that means I'm headed to New York! Can't Wait!

I sure feel for the people who are losing jobs right now. The economy is struggling, which means weekly we are hearing of more and more people who go unemployed. Recently I heard of a couple big factories laying off hundreds of people. There was even a few smaller companies who let go those with admin jobs. I'm very thankful to have my job, but can't help but feel for those who don't have jobs right now. I wish things would turn around and start flourishing again. I'm not sure I see that happening anytime soon though?! What do you think?

Ok...so this week is the week! I finally get to move into my new condo and I couldn't be more excited. I get the keys soon...then it will be off to painting before my parents get here to help me move all my stuff. We're hoping by the end of the weekend to have most everything unpacked and livable for me. It's going to be a big job, but I think we'll be able to do it. My sister and her family are coming down Saturday to help...the more the merrier.

With Mother's Day only a month away I've been thinking about what my sister, and sister-in-law as a gift. After doing some research I think I have found the perfect gift. My brother had a heck of a time flying in and getting to his interview today! He was stuck up in the cities for hours and hours...poor guy! No fun to sit in an airport that long with nothing to do. Thankfully he had his phone and computer I'm sure....between those two things it had to have helped to pass the time more quickly. He's safe in town now and probably gearing up for the big interview. So exciting! I think for all the trouble they should give him free hotel rooms for life...haha.

I have a very busy next few days. Today and tomorrow I will hopefully find a place to buy....and start the closing process and be in by next week! That in it self is a whole lot of stuff. Tonight I'm planning on hanging out with my brother some who is in town interviewing. Saturday I think the fam is coming down to celebrate my birthday which will be fun. It's a lot, but is all good stuff so I don't mind. Looking forward to it...
