John Deere
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

I love my job. Even thought I'm not in the office, I still have the ability to do work from home. I get paid for it too. It's great! I especially enjoy working on the weekends because then I get paid even more. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect position. I love what I do and all the benefits that come along with it. I hope to continue with John Deere for a very long time! They're a wonderful company.

My BMW
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

I have had my BMW for a little over 2 months now and love it. When I bought it, it had a few minor scratches and a chip in the windsheild. Last week I took it to a body shop to get all the blemishes fixed. It only took them a day and they were able to make all of them disappear, and now my car looks like new. When I picked it up, they had just finished buffing it and it looked like it had just came of the showroom floor. Wow!

Karisma Hotels
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

Here in Iowa, our winters are rather cold and miserable. It's no fun to even go outside these days. I have some vacation time built up at work and am seriously considering taking some time to go on a vacation. I was reading up a little bit about the Karisma Hotels and it sounds like my kind of place to vacation. They have a new Gourmet-Inclusive concept which is perfect for people who love food like myself. They also have a beautiful location right there on the Mexican Riviera Maya. They have an elite level of service with snap to service, as well as amazing accommodations such as beach beds, bar swings and more! Learn more about them and their all inclusive vacation on their website today!

Kaelyn is Entertaining
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

Many people like to go on my You Tube account and look at the videos that are put on there about Kaelyn. You may think that Scott and Jenna have to force Kaelyn to do things like that, but I can tell you thats not the case. For example, tonight, after supper Jenna took off her diaper and set her on the floor. Kaelyn just took off running, buck naked and all. I got out my IPhone and recorded some of the things that she was doing, she's a riot.

The Greatest Golf Movie Ever!
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

Tonight we're watching the movie Happy Gilmore, probably the greatest and funniest golf movie made. I just started golfing about 2 years ago and it's fun to watch the show and understand the frustrations that he has. I can't hit the long ball quite like that but I definately know how he feels when it comes to putting. What a great movie to spend my night watching.

You have a deal.
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

I got a phone call tonight from my realtor and it sounds like if I can agree on a couple of items. First one is to close at the end of March, which works for me, and the second is the closing costs. So I'm, once again, waiting to hear back from my realtor to see if I can finally get my first home. I hope that this is the last time we have to go through this.

Missing Mylie
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

While I went away this weekend I left my cat, Mylie, home by herself. It's kind of weird not having her with me because whenever I'm sitting on the couch she is right there on me or beside me. She is such a great pet, very not demanding, which is good for me and my life. I miss my Mylie very much and can't wait to get back to see her.

Allegro Medical
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

I happened to come across some information on the company Allegro Medical and wanted to pass it along. They were founded in 1996 and serve over 1 million customers. They have come a long ways since then, and are now recognized as one of the larges and most technologically advanced independent online retailers of life enhancing products in the US. They have expanded their products to include Exercise & Fitness Equipment, nutritional supplements, Maternity/Baby Supplies and Outdoor Gear. That covers a lot of items and caters to almost every person around. Check out their site today for more information. You won't be sorry you did.

Spending Time with Kaelyn
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

I took a long weekend so that I could go up and spend time with my favorite niece Kaelyn. Kaelyn is 16 months old and really fun to be around. She is such an active little girl that she even wears me out. I love to just sit and watch how she can entertain herself. Just being able to get away from Cedar Falls and relax is great.

Fun Weekend
Friday, February 20, 2009 Posted By: Jake - Comments:

I'm looking forward to this next weekend. Not only am I hopefully going to find out what the deal is with this condo situation, but I also am going to go see my sister and her family. I haven't been up there to visit in a while, so it will be fun. My little niece grows so fast that it's always nice to see her and how much she's changed. I guess she's quite the talker and saying my name pretty well. Wow...where has the time gone?!

TheKnot.com has always been a great place for people to start planning their wedding. With everything from a list of Local Wedding Vendors to photographers, florists and more....it's the one stop shop for everything you will need to have that perfect wedding. I think it's great that TheKnot.com helps to make a very stressful planning experience, one that's not nearly as overwhelming. This local wedding resource center is all you will need to get the wedding of your dreams. If you haven't, I would encourage you to take a moment and head over there to check it out for yourself. It's definitely worth your time!

Vacation to Philly
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

My brother has been pursuing his master's degree online for a couple years now. He's almost finished, which means that they are looking for a job closer to family. Hopefully that will be in the next few months, as it would be great to have them closer to all of us. This summer...in June, he graduates and we all get to go to his ceremony in Philidelphia. I'm looking forward to it, not only to see him graduate, but also to have a vacation to a place I've never been. It should be a good time!

Tax Season
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

Wow...I never realized how busy I would be looking for a condo, working full time +overtime, and getting my tax stuff together. It's actually kind of a stressful time of year. I don't get stressed very easily, but this has me a little overwhelmed. Oh well, this too shall pas I suppose. I'm just looking forward to having tax season done and over with...as I'm sure many other people are as well. It's nice getting back a return, but there's a lot of work that goes into getting everything organized, that's for sure!

WeddingChannel.com
Wednesday, February 11, 2009 Posted By: Jake - Comments:

I remember when my sister got married, she had so much planning to do with my mom. It was stressful for her and I'm sure overwhelmed her at times. When I get married, I hope to use a site like WeddingChannel.com. They have been helping brides and grooms plan their weddings for over 10 years. They are a comprehensive wedding planning site that offers free, interactive planning tools, advice, photos, a local vendor guide and even a registry system for Wedding Gifts. They have a lot more too...which is why I'm definitely going to keep them in mind. I would love to have this kind of help when planning one of the biggest days of my life!

Warming Up
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

It's sure warmed up in the last few days. Last week we had so much snow, that you actually had to inch out of the drive where I live just to see if there was a car coming. The snow was piled higher than my car! Now however, the temps have warmed up and the snow is melting away quickly. I enjoy this weather. It's a little messy out there for my BMW, but it means that Spring will hopefully be here soon. At least that's what I am praying for! I am sick of winter...we've had SO much snow, and such bitter temps. It will be nice to see some grass again.

Working for John Deere
Monday, February 02, 2009 Posted By: Jake - Comments:

I have to admit that I never really saw myself working in a position like I am now. It was my dream, but to dress up every day and work for such a noteworthy company....I thought it would take time. Who knew that a month after I graduated from college John Deere is where I'd call home....it's amazing there!! I actually have come to enjoy my position a lot and the fact that I dress up each day is pretty fun too. I am currently in search for a great Panerai watch, as I am very impressed with their style. I think it would be make a great addition to my daily attire.

Our Economy
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

Lately every time I take a look at the news or a newspaper, I am hearing of more and more companies either closing down completely or letting off hundreds of workers. I am hopeful that this economy will turn around, as it's sad to see so many hard working people lose their incomes. It's just mindbogglingly to me to see so many people affected by this difficult time. Not only are small coffee franchises completely closing down 100's of locations, but also many large corporations as well. I hope for the sake of everyone needing to earn a living that this all turns around very quickly.
