Headaches are no fun! I have had one for a couple days now on and off. I think it's from my glasses. I am pretty sure that the prescription in them isn't right anymore...so my eyes are having to strain which is giving me a headache. I really need to make an eye appointment just get my eyes checked again and to make sure that I have the correct lenses. I am working front of a computer all day which I'm sure doesn't help the situation at all.

I'm really looking forward to this weekend. Tonight I think I am going to head back home and visit the fam again. I was in Texas for a week and miss seeing them and my little niece. I think I may go up and stay with my sister and her family one night so that I can spend time with my niece. I am having baby withdrawl.:) She's such a sweetie. We're also going to go out on the lake maybe, which should be fun too.

With it being such a beautiful day today, I think Renee and I might go for a walk. Wow is it nice out today! I've been wanting warmer weather...but today is almost too hot! I think it's going to be in the 90's by this afternoon...that's just crazy! I'm glad I work and live in air conditioning...otherwise I can't imagine how hot I might get. I'm also glad that my car has air conditioning. My sister sent me the cutest video last night. My little niece is about 8 months old, and she's already pulling herself up to stand next to things. I talked with my sister last night and she said how busy she's been with her blogs lately. I've taught her a few things about web design...and ever since she's really gotten very good and doing some of her own things with the templates she has. I guess over the past few days she's redone two of her own templates, and made one for my mom. I'm glad that she's enjoying so much and has learned such a great deal! It's a lot of fun once you get the hang of it!

I am still having such a blast here in Texas with my brother and his family! I thought 7 days would be plenty of time to see them...but as tomorrow nears and is the last day that I am here...I can tell that it's going to be hard to leave so soon. The one good thing about it is that they will be coming back home to visit in just a couple of weeks. That will be nice to get to see them again, if only for a short while. As many have probably read, I'm down visiting my brother and his family. One of the best things about it is getting to see my little nephew. He's so sweet! One morning he came in the room that I'm sleeping in and woke me up. What a nice surprise to wake up to that cute little face! Yesterday my sister and her husband celebrated their three year wedding anniversary. Since it was the middle of the week they really didn't make any plans...and just hung out and relaxed. It seems that there are always a lot of weddings and anniversaries in the month of June. Just in my own family we have three anniversaries this month. My parents celebrated their 29th wedding anniversary a few days ago...and my brother and his wife will in about a week from now. I guess it is a good time to get married...warm and nice weather up where we live.

My sister sent me some recent pictures of my little niece pulling herself up to a standing position! She is getting be such a big girl!! She's so active and always on the go. Sometimes I think it really wears my sister out...haha. But she thinks it's fun. It's just funny because she just learned to crawl a few weeks ago, and now she's already trying to stand. It's funny how quickly they go from one thing to the next, isn't it?!! Before we know it, she'll be walking.

It kind of stinks how quickly the week is going by. Renee and I are having so much fun in Texas!! We're here for seven days, but it's already Wednesday, which means our week is half over. The time goes by way too quickly when you're having fun! Isn't that how it usually goes though?! It seems to be that way more often than not. I'm just going to try and enjoy each day we have to spend with these guys...because then who knows when we'll get back down here to see them next.

Isn't it amazing how resilient kids are?! I have never really been around kids before my niece and nephew were born and I have seen how resilient they are. Because it seems like kids have lots of little falls..and if they weren't able to keep playing after them, they'd be crawling an awful lot.

So far Renee and I are having So much fun here in Texas. I'm loving spending time with my brother and his family. I got into golfing last summer, and am so excited that it's getting nice out and almost time for another golfing season to begin. I mean, the season has officially begun...but here where I live it needs to warm up a bit more before we can get out there as much as we'd like. What a nice weekend I had. I was able to go back home and spend some quality time with my parents, as well as my sister and her family. As I get older things like this are very important to me!! We didn't really do much...went out to eat...but otherwise just hung out and spent time together. My parents went up to my sister's house so my Dad could help them with some electrical stuff in their basement...so I helped out a little with that too. Overall it was a great weekend, I'm really glad I was able to come home for a few days.!!

I don't know about you, but now with summer here, I'm really itching to take a vacation. I was considering looking into something like St. Barts villa rentals, but then I had the offer to go see my brother and his family for a week this month...and I wouldn't pass that deal up for the world! Renee and I get to go out there for 7 whole days. I haven't seen any of them since Christmas so that will be fun. I am especially excited to see my little nephew who I've only ever had the chance to meet once! It will be fun to see how much he's changed and grown. I'm sure I will be sad to leave when the time comes, that's for sure!

My brother-in-law is a very outgoing person who is great at working with people. This is a trait that not many people have, and it's great when you do have it. He has a job right now, and I think he really likes it. However, I'm always on the lookout for an even better job for him. I just think he'd do so good in a job where he's working more directly with people. I am always all ears in my own company, listening for an opening for sales manager jobs or something! He'd be great at that. I don't know if he'd be interested or not, but I'll let him know if I hear of anything anyways. It never hurts to keep your options open, right?!
