As many of you know, mother's day is around the corner. I remembered that it was coming a couple of weeks ago already, but I can tell it's getting closer just by all of the jewelry ads I have been getting in my mailbox. Jewelry must be a pretty popular thing to give moms on mothers day, huh?! I guess it's a good gift...I mean, most women enjoy jewelry. I know my mom does. :) I was looking through these ads just for fun, and noticed that there was actually a lot of men's jewelry too. I suppose they want to put a plug in there for their other types of jewelry as well. I was looking at some luxury watches and was quite impressed with what they offered. I got an e-mail from my sister today, telling me to check out her blog after I got off work. I went int there right when I got home and loved her most recent post. She wrote about my little niece and how much she is growing and changing. She said how she is constantly trying to keep her camera by her every second so she doesn't miss a thing. Well, recently her daughter was sitting on the floor playing when all of a sudden she started squealing and making all sorts of "jabbering" noises. My dad worked as a police officer for many years and loved it. He's now working for the DCI, which he also enjoys a lot. It's weird that it's already the end of the school year. I'm not in school anymore, but my girlfriend Renee is. I enjoy hearing when my niece and nephew are doing new things. THey're both almost 6 months, so they are changing and learning new things daily! My sister told me that my little is sitting up so well and is getting up on her hands and knees. She will be crawling in no time I'm sure. She will be starting solids here this weekend I think. My brother said that my nephew is also doing lots more. He also has his two bottom teeth which just came in. I can't wait to see that, he'll be so cute.

Anytime that I have to go to the doctor, I end up going to Urgent Care, as it's typically last minute and not something I had planned on doing. When you go to a place like that, you generally wait a long time to even get called back to the room, and then wait even longer for the clinical laboratory service to get back your results. I had this experience the last time I went and had to get a strep test. Hopefully from now on when I need to go to the doctor's office, I can just make an appointment at the clinic instead.

I am sure liking my new job. I've been with them for about a month now I think...and I'm really liking it a lot. It's a lot more work than I was doing before, but right up my alley. I just love going to work. I have a lot to do each day, but it's so fun. I really feel blessed to have such a great job and one with John Deere. I had such a nice weekend. It was absolutely beautiful out, which means that Renee and I got to spend some much needed time outdoors. I have family who have been to Branson before and they really enjoyed it. I've been talking to some people about it, and I guess the Branson golf is just amazing!! I have really been getting more and more into golf and I would love to go on a little vacation and just enjoy the sport. My dad really loves golf too...maybe he'd like to go with me?! I don't know when I'll be able to go, but it would be a fun thing to do this summer sometime. That way it will be warm enough to go.

I think I finally have this whole blog thing figured out. I've been having some issues with one of my blogs. The server seems to have been down for a while or something, but I think I have it figured out. I actually had to contact the company in Australia to get everything squared away. Today has been a long day. I'm still trying to figure out how to get my other blog back up and running. I can't believe they shut it down! Grr..... I am thinking that I may have to go with another company if this one is going to mess up like this. I am pretty frustrated this morning with the company that hosts one of my blogs. I have to pay a yearly fee to have my blog hosted by them, which I pay each year. A couple of weeks ago I bought a new television and some new furniture. I was able to buy everything that exact day, except that one of the couches I bought wasn't in at the time. Well, I've been working as a manufacturing engineer at my new job for a couple of weeks now and am absolutely loving it!! It's the best job anyone could ever have. Not only are the benefits outstanding, but the job in itself is everything I had hoped it would be and more! Wow, is the weather beautiful out there today!! I'm so happy to be able to walk out my door in the mornings and find the sun shining and the birds chirping. Especially since we've been having more winter weather lately than nice weather. I was happy to hear the weatherman say that the forecast is going to be warm and sunny. That is a nice change! I hope it stays like that and only continues to get nicer...that would be great!

My dad has been telling me that now that I have such a great job, I should possibly look into getting a house of my own. I have been thinking about it a lot and I definitely think he's right! Renting seems like it's such a waste of money. My money isn't really going into anything...it's being thrown down the drain pretty much. I think the first thing I need to do is look at the mortgage lenders in my area and find one that I am comfortable with. Hopefully this won't be too difficult, as this is all new to me.

Many people who know me, know that I like pens. It doesn't have to be a certain brand, or style...I just enjoy all kinds and varieties. My sister knows this especially well...and bought me a really neat customized pen for my birthday last week! She's the best!! I really enjoy the company that I work for, so she went out searching for custom pens with their logo on it. It's the neatest pen I own. So nice, that I don't even know if I want to use it, or just set it out for looks!haha

I can't believe that we're already halfway through the month of April already! Honestly, I don't know where the time goes! I think part of my disbelief that it's already April is that the weather sure doesn't feel like it. It's so cold out...and today there is actually snow on the ground. This time of year it's supposed to get warmer and rain a lot...but we're not supposed to have snow! Yuck! I really hope it gets nicer soon.

Recently I was shopping for some furniture...a futon in particular. I had such a hard time finding a futon that I was looking for, for a price that I was willing to spend. Unfortunately I ended up finding one that was ok, but not my ideal choice. It's been really cold outside again. I really am anxious for nicer weather again. It was so nice this weekend, and I want that kind of weather to stick around for a while. It's weird, but ever since I moved into my own place, decorating it has been kind of fun. I especially enjoy looking for unique clocks to put in each room. It's the wrought iron look and has a pendulum. It's really a neat looking clock, and one that is perfect for a guy's place like mine. So, it's been a busy few weeks with my job. I recently was promoted within the company that I work for, and am happy to say that since then have received another promotion which gives me the job and title that I've always wanted! I'm pretty excited about the weather today. It's supposed to get up into the 60's possibly!! Isn't that crazy? Well, maybe not to some people, but to me that's really great! Well, I officially am almost through my first week at my new job. I've really been enjoying it...but it also has been keeping me VERY busy!! My birthday is on Monday, so we're all just going to go out to eat or something and enjoy each other's company. Should be a good time.
