Shopping Right
Friday, February 29, 2008 Posted By: Jake - Comments:

I am always looking for the best buy when it comes to everything I purchase....especially when it comes to electronics. The thing with electronics is that there are so many different brands of things out there, each having their own unique features. Although price is important, I also look for quality. Something that is known for it's usability as well as it's price. There's a happy medium there. I think some people go out and buy the cheapest thing out there, and their product is worth the amount paid. However, there are also people who spend way too much in my opinion and don't get their money's worth at all.

Snow
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

Thankfully when I woke up this morning I saw that there was no snow falling from the sky. Yesterday it ended up getting pretty nasty...causing many people to stay in doors. Early this morning I heard the plows out which is great. I hate trying to plow through unplowed roads with my little vehicle. The only thing that kind of stinks is that the parking lots to my apartment complex were not plowed. That's a job in itself just to try and get out. I hope they have it done soon.

Telemarketing Services
Thursday, February 28, 2008 Posted By: Jake - Comments:

Almost all of us have experience with telemarketers in some way. Either we've gotten calls from them, or have known someone who did this. I knew a friend of mine who did this and really enjoyed it. Some of us may not like telemarketers, but it really doesn't bother me at all. They have a job to do, and they're good at it. I recently was browsing the web and came across a great site that offers Telemarketing services. Blueberryms.co.uk is the site and it was really quite interesting to read of all the services that they offer. This is a great option for businesses wanting to get their products out there. The services offered are appointment making, lead generation, database cleaning, database management, seminar conference booking, sales training, market research, etc. If you'd like to learn more about these services and how they could help you, head over to their site today! It's very user friendly and easy to navigate...and you're sure to find exactly what you're looking for! They offer a wealth of information, sure to answer all of your questions. So what are you waiting for? Head over there today and see what you've been missing!!!

American Idol
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

American Idol is on tonight. Although I enjoy hearing all of the contestants sing, I really like the Thursday night show because that's when we find out about the results of the week and two are eliminated. I have an idea of who may be eliminated as always, and I'm interested to find out if I'm right or not. I always feel bad for the ones that do get voted off, but that just means we're getting closer and closer to finding the next American Idol.

The BadCreditOffers.com website is a comparison site for people looking for credit cards - bad credit, car loans, etc. Take a look at their site to learn more today! Almost the weekend
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

One more day left and then I'm off for the weekend. Tomorrow shouldn't be too bad. I have interviews pretty much all day which will be fun I think. I'm just looking forward to the weekend because I think Renee and I are coming back home to see my parents, her parents and my sister, her husband and my niece. I hope the weather is nice so that we're able to make it back.

Sales Training
Wednesday, February 27, 2008 Posted By: Jake - Comments:

I have gone through many different kinds of trainings before with the different jobs that I have had. These trainings usually take place when you first start or are hired for a position. Most training programs will give you a little history of the company, and how the company has come to be. They also provide you with the assets and knowledge you will need to be successful. With Sales Training UK you will have a better idea of how to promote the products of your company. Many of my experiences have been great with training programs. They, for the most part, give you the tools necessary to succeed. Many businesses have taken note of these sales training programs, and you should too.

This week
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

It's only Wednesday, but this week is already flying by!! I can't believe that I only have a couple of days left and then it's the weekend already?!! Wow!! I'm looking forward to that because I'm going to get to see my niece when I go back home. It's also Renee's birthday this weekend, so we're going to go out with her family and celebrate as well. I'm looking forward to it!

Capella
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

This blog post was is based on information provided by Blogitive. For more information, please visit Blogitive.com

Capella University is an online University that is full accredited and known to many people who have attended there, and for their online degree programs. One person who knows this first hand is Teresa Chaulk, a PhD student there. She has actually been named superintendent of Lincoln County School District Number One in Wyoming, which is very exciting!! In a recent web release that I read, she had said that this was an extreme honor that they she looked forward to the position. I for one think it's great that there's a school like this out there that allows people to get an education online while still having a job and working towards their ultimate career goals. If you'd like to further your education online, check with Capella University to see if they are the right fit for you!

Traveling
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

My dad was recently in New Orleans for his job. He had never been there, and neither have I. He said that there sure was a lot to see and do there, however, he was pretty busy most of the time so he didn't get to site see too much. The only bummer about it was that his flights were split up and he had a lay over both times. It seemed to take forever to get there and get back...so he's happy to finally be home!

Clearing Up
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

It finally stopped snowing which is great! I can't believe how much it had snowed here recently. I'm glad it's clearing up, because my plan is to head back home this weekend and I don't want to deal with bad weather, that's for sure!! I'm glad that I'm going to have nice weather to drive in. It's no fun canceling plans because of this yucky winter weather. Where is Spring?! I hope it's coming soon...I do not like winter one bit!

Moving
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

I've done my share of moving over the years, and let me tell you...what a pain!! The next time I move I want to get in contact with a moving company. I recently came across a web release that the service network came out with where they announced their quick and easy moving companies matching system. Like I said, moving is a pain...it's stressful and can cost a lot of money. That's why it's important to get a mover, and choose the right one. This is a great network that will help you choose the right company by making the right match for you! The movers here are all licensed and insured, and all must meet qualifying factors to be accepted. I'm definitely considering looking into them the next time I move, and you should as well! Take a look and see what you think.

Junk Mail
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

One of my biggest pet peeves is having too much junk in my e-mail each morning. You don't know how many times I've switched e-mails just to get away from this problem...but every time it gets back to the same old thing. I try marking all of the junk so it will go in my junk folder, but that doesn't always happen. There's just too much spam going on these days....does anyone else get frustrated with this?? I know I do!!

Web Hosting
Tuesday, February 26, 2008 Posted By: Jake - Comments:

Anyone who knows anything about webhosting and the internet knows that Yahoo is a great place to start. I recently heard that they actually have become even better now by combining their three web hosting plans into one great new offer! With this new offer you can get unlimited disk space, unlimited data transfer and unlimited email storage!! I think that's pretty good if you ask me! I've never gone through yahoo web hosting before, but have heard that it's great, and now to hear that they've combined their plans....this is definitely something I"m going to have to look into.
When deciding on a web hosting company, one of the most important things to remember is that you want someone who is going to help you as much as possible. To have someone helping you through the e-mail storage, data transfer and disk space they're giving you....that's amazing and something many people should consider taking advantage of. If you'd like to learn more about this new offer, you can check out their site for a wealth of information that will help you make the best decision for you and your situation. I urge you to check it out and see what you think! I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Headache
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

Uh, I woke up with a headache this morning and that is not a way to start the day, that's for sure! I have a lot going on right now with starting a new position and wish that this headache would not have shown up. I've been trying to go to bed at a descent time, and have been trying to eat right. Sometimes I just get them. I think part of it is due to the fact that I"m always cooped up inside my place...no fresh air because of the bitter weather. I'm looking forward to Spring!!

Furniture
Monday, February 25, 2008 Posted By: Jake - Comments:

I moved into a bigger place at the beginning of year and the one thing that I have really been wanting is a new bed. When I moved, I had just started a job so I didn't have the money to spend on something like that. My parents were kind enough to give me one of their old beds to use, which was great! However, now that I have been with my job for a while and have a little money to spend on a bed, I'd like to find one that is more comfortable and new. I was looking online today and came across Time4Sleep.co.uk. I really liked a lot of what they had to offer as far as beds were concerned, but my favorite would have to be the fontainebleau french style bed. This is a great bed with a style that's very unique and very much me. It even has a storage drawer in it, which would be great for me. I tend to place things under my bed, so a drawer would be very useful in my situation. There were many great French Beds to choose from, but this is definitely my favorite. I also really like the price on it as well. If you're looking for a new bed, or other piece of furniture, check out this site today. You'll love their selection and their prices, guaranteed!! Take a look and see what you think.

Weekend Ahead
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

Next week is Renee's Birthday. I think we're going to go back home to visit her parents and mine this weekend. I'm excited, because we're also going to go visit my sister, her husband and my cute little niece, Kaelyn!! I haven't seen them in a while, so that should be a lot of fun! It's going to be a busy weekend, but it should be a good time. I'm looking forward to it!

Sans Souci Art Glass
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

Have you ever heard of Sans Soucie Art Glass before? This is a new brand of the Sandblast Design Series. I was looking through their site and found that their design solutions are cheaper than those multi-state, custom panels that they offer. If you're looking for a place to find a variety of design styles...whether it be Pantry Door Glass Designs, Privacy Glass or Geometric, this is the place for you. If you'd like to learn more you can head over to their site right now and check it out for yourself.

Bad Weather
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

It sounds like we could get some pretty bad weather today. I think most of the schools around are either canceled or letting out early. Where supposed to get another winter storm...only this time it's supposed to be ice and snow! That does not make for good driving conditions at all! It doesn't appear to have started already, but it's supposed to start by this afternoon. I am hoping to be in my warm apartment by then and not go outdoors until the storm has passed.

Cosmetic Surgery
Sunday, February 24, 2008 Posted By: Jake - Comments:

One thing we see more and more these days is people getting plastic surgery. Whether it's Breast Enhancement or something else....everyone knows someone that's had this done probably. On that note, I recently learned that almost half, 44%, of Brits' would like to have cosmetic surgery. This didn't really surprise me, as I think there are many people who would like to change or enhance something about them. I read an interesting article about this, discussing that fact, as well as the fact that the most likely candidates for cosmetic surgery in Britain would probably be mothers.

New Week, New Job
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

Wow, this weekend sure did fly by. I was hoping to just relax and for it to go by pretty slow, but it went by very quickly. I'm trying to relax and mess around on my computer for a while before it gets too late and I get too tired. Tomorrow another work week begins. That's ok though, I'm starting a new position and I'm very excited!!

Renee's Present
Saturday, February 23, 2008 Posted By: Jake - Comments:

My girlfriend really enjoys jewelry. I've been looking for a gold bangle for her for her birthday, which is actually coming up in just over a week. I think she'd really like this and I want to find the very best for her. I've looked all over in stores and online and am still looking for the very best.....she deserves it! My mom really likes jewelry, so I'm thinking about asking her opinion about what she thinks I should get her.

Flowers
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

If you love flowers, but want to find them for a great price, then FiftyFlowers is the place for you. They have roses, calla lilies, rose petals, gerbera, daisies, and so much more! The great thing about this isn't just that they offer wholesale flowers, but they carry flowers for all kinds of occasions. Whether you're looking for centerpieces, table arrangements, or something else you definitely should check this site out. Save up to 75% of what you'd normally pay and check out their great selection of flowers. Their site has a lot of useful information that I think you'll really enjoy learning more about. Head over there and see what you think.

Tax Stuff
Friday, February 22, 2008 Posted By: Jake - Comments:

I'm really anxious to get my taxes done to see if I will be getting a return this year. It's the first year that I've been out of school and working full time, so I'm really curious as to how it's all going to turn out. Hopefully I will get back some sort of a refund and not have to pay in. That would not be fun. I think my tax person is taking a look at all of my stuff today...so hopefully I will know soon!

Hmmm...
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

My sister just e-mailed me. She said she's having some problems with the new blog that I helped her design. For some reason something is messed up with the archives. She'll go to push "previous posts" and it takes her back to January...skipping a bunch in between. I'm going to have to check that out and figure out what's going on there. That should keep me quite busy tonight I would presume!

Beauty School
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

Have you ever heard of Regency? They're growing beauty schools in the US. They have been around for over 50 years and actually have almost 30 campuses across nine different states. They're continuing to grow, which is very exciting for those who are looking to go into cosmetology. They are known for their exceptional education and great placement of students after they graduate. People who know anything about Regency, know that that they are known for their great education and seek out professionals that graduate from there. If you're looking at going into this field, or know someone who is, take a look at this site to learn more.

Working on Blogs
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

Ever since I began my job I don't feel like I get quite as much time to blog anymore as I would like. I find that when I do get time, I am putting a lot of work into my PS3 blog that I created a while back. I really enjoy blogging, and using my blogs to make money. Thankfully last night I was able to get some blogitive opportunities which was great! It's been a while since I was able to get quite a few, so now I will be busy doing those this weekend.

News
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

I'm sure by now many people have heard the recent updates on the Natalee Halloway case. I'm not sure what's going to happen, but for the sake of her and her family....I just wish that they would do something and end this whole thing. They basically got a confession from the boy down that, Joran, who they say probably had something to do with it...but now they're saying they may not be able to use the video tape for some reason. It's so frustrating. Many people think he had something to do with it, yet he always seems to walk away. Hopefully they get to the bottom of this soon...I feel bad for her family.

Credit Cards
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

Have you ever been looking for the right credit card but find that it can be hard based on the fact that there are so many out there? I know I have. With a credit card it's important to remember that there is always fine print and you want to make sure that you're getting the best deal for your situation. If you want to do this easily and quickly, take a look at creditcardsearchengine.com. They are a long running site that makes it possible for you to compare credit cards. Not only that, but you can also apply for them. You may be looking for Sports Credit Card Offers, something with low interest, or maybe rewards cards....what ever you're looking for....this site has it. Take a look and see if you're interested in trying them out.

More snow?!
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

It is still SO cold outside today. This morning I woke up and heard someone shoveling outside. I thought to myself..."I sure hope it didn't snow again last night". As I looked out my window I saw someone shoveling, but they were shoveling the snow that had already fallen, not new snow....Thank goodness!! I do not want any more snow!! I think we've gotten enough to last us through the rest of the winter. Now if it would just warm up...

She's a Keeper
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

I always enjoy talking with my sister about my niece and how much she's changing. I guess she's getting so big and has been such a good girl!! She's cooing and smiling a lot more, and is awake much more during the day. When she was smaller she really didn't like napping in her crib, but now that she's bigger and getting on more of a schedule she's really sleeping well in there. She's taking naps in there everyday and still sleeping through the night. I think she's a keeper.;)

Need a Vacation
Thursday, February 21, 2008 Posted By: Jake - Comments:

Going on a vacation right about now sounds wonderful. It's been so bitter cold that all I want to do is get on a flight and go somewhere warm. I've been thinking long and hard about going to the Karisma Hotels there on the Mexican Riviera Maya. They offer a gourmet inclusive type of vacation for all of those who love food. This sounds like my type of vacation, especially since they have great service and wonderful accommodations like beach beds, entertainment and swim-up rooms. I think this is a vacation I could really enjoy...especially since everything is included for one price! If you're wanting to go on a fun vacation this winter season, check out Karisma Hotels today.

New Computer
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

My sister and her husband had two computers. Their desktop is quite old and doesn't run the best. Their laptop ran great and that's what they used for everything. Then, one day out of the blue, it just crashed. Thankfully they didn't have a whole lot of important things saved on it, but they were still very bummed because that meant spending money to buy a new one. They just got their new one in the mail...they got a Dell. They really like it which is great. I don't think I could ever go back to having a computer like that after having my new MacBook Air, but I'm glad that it works for them.

New Blog Doing Well
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

I am proud to say that my new blog on PS3's has been doing quite well since it launched. I like having a blog that is specific to something I am passionate about. I mean, don't get me wrong, I love the job I have....but doing something like authoring a site like this on the side is great. I'm learning new ways to make money by use of a blog...mainly through adsense. It's amazing how much money you can make if you have your ads placed correctly.

Utility Bill
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

Even though I only live in an apartment, i still have seen a huge rise in my gas bill this winter. I think it's due to the fact that most days over the past few weeks have been 30 below zero!! It's been a very bitter winter, which means the heat has been running overtime. I've tried to turn it down, but I just freeze. Hopefully the warmer weather will be here soon and I can just enjoy having a comfortable temperature in my place without having the heat or air on. That will be great!

Mortgages
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

I don't have a mortgage of my own yet, but I have learned a great deal about it from my sister and her husband who bought a home a while back. It's something that I am going to look into in the near future, so they were sharing their experiences with me. I have also been looking online for information on what kinds of loans would be best for me and I came a cross a great site with many useful news stories for someone in my position. One of the stories I found most interesting was that titled Mortgage Approvals Increase. This interested me because obviously I am looking to get with a company that will approve me for a mortgage when I'm ready. What I read was quite interesting. Basically they said that the approvals rose 3% in just a month for Mortgages, with as many as 75,300 getting loans last month! Even though approvals are up, this is still a very hard time for the housing market, being down 38% from last year. If you'd like more interesting news like this, take a look at this site today to learn more!

New Job
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

Now that I have a new job, there a few things that I'm going to look at upgrading in the next few months. One of them is my car. I really like my car, but I've had lots of problems with it and would just like to get something newer. I don't know what I'll be looking at yet, but I'm anxious to start looking around. I'm also going to look for a bigger television. I think my parents or my sister might by the 42 inch tv that I have, then I may go get something bigger. It's just kind of a fun thing for me that I may do down the line.

Debt Management
Wednesday, February 20, 2008 Posted By: Jake - Comments:

I'm pretty excited to say that having this new job has really helped out my financial situation. I was doing ok before, this has made life a lot easier for me! I definitely still have the debt, as do many other college alumni out there, but thankfully I have it under control! The one big thing when it comes to debt is knowing how to handle it if you find yourself in that situation and how to stay out of it if you're one of the lucky ones not facing it. Obviously with college I have some debt. However, unlike some, I find that it's easy to continue forward and stay in good standing with the lenders through debt management. I pay my payments on time each month because it is a payment program set up specifically geared towards my needs. Debt Management programs are wonderful for people who are trying to avoid bankruptcy. More people need to look into these types of programs because we just have too much bankruptcy among us these days. If you're a luck one and not facing debt, you can continue to try and stay out of debt by living within your means. Know how much you can easily afford and don't get yourself in a bind by buying things you can't.

Headaches are no fun!
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

Let me tell you, it is know fun trying to work when you have a headache! I don't know what it is, but for the past couple of days I have had a nagging headache. It seems to get better when I get more sleep...so I really think it's due to a lack of sleep. Unfortunately with this new job position I have been really busy and not able to get the sleep that I normally do. Hopefully for me and my head things will slow down soon. I'm already looking forward to this weekend!

Debt
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

It seems that debt is something that everyone faces at some point in their lives. Those of us who are younger usually have debt to at least one thing....that being school! Although I've had other kinds of debt in the past, they were nothing compared to that which I have now that I've graduated college. I guess the important thing about being in debt is that you know you can afford the payments. When I was in school I only borrowed what I needed, not just whatever they would hand out to me. Now that I'm out of school I'm thankful I did this. I don't have near the debt as others who went to school. Once I knew how much debt I had, I talked with the loan company and we came up Debt Management Plans that suited my budget. I made sure that it was something I could afford each month. I think that's the biggest thing to remember if you have debt and want to get out....make sure you can afford your payments so you don't get further into debt. Budgeting is a huge thing too. Although I do have the school debt, I pretty much am doing well other than that. I think that's because I have taken the budgeting advice my mom has given me and figured out that I need to have a budget and stick to it. Each month I get paid, I know that a certain amount of money has to come right off the top for bills. Whether you have debt or not, there are ways to keep a handle on it and even keep from going in debt.

So Cold
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

Wow did it get cold last night. It got down to 40 below zero! That's not even safe to be outdoors. I'm glad that I didn't have anywhere to be. I stayed in and enjoyed my warm apartment. I watched a little TV...but mainly played around with my new MacBook Air Computer! It's SOOO cool! The commercial just doesn't do it justice. If you stack three quarters one on top of the other, that's how thin it is. It's amazing. I just love it!

Tickets
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

I am not a huge sports fan, but my girlfriend really enjoys watching them. She particularly likes the Miami Heat and would love to get Miami Heat Tickets if we ever could. With her birthday quickly approaching, I've been thinking about looking for some tickets to a sporting event that she would like. It's really a hassle trying to find tickets, as it seems they are either always sold out, or not in the area of seating that we would be interested in sitting. Recently though, I did come across Premium Seats USA. They seem to have a huge selection of first-class tickets to all kinds of events, not just sporting events. It's a great place to look if you're looking to go to a theater event or even a concert. I'm going to check them out some more, and you should too!

Health
Monday, February 18, 2008 Posted By: Jake - Comments:

It's so important for young people and older people to stay healthy. There are so many great things out there that helps us do this. Whether it's exercise equipment, like the elliptical machine that my sister just bought, or products like liver cleanse...they're all made to help each and every one of us stay healthy and live a happier life. I for one take vitamins to help stay healthy...what things do you do??

Prison Break
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

I am sure happy to be home. It was kind of a busy and long day, so it feels good to kick off my shoes and lay down on the couch. I am watching Prison Break as I type this, and boy is intense. I really like this show, as it always has me on the edge of my seat! I look forward to watching it each week. I better get going, the commercial break is almost over and I don't want to miss a thing.

Clocks
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

I have always enjoyed clocks. I love the uniqueness that it can bring to ones home. I think I began liking clocks, particularly grandfather clocks and other wall clocks when I was young. My Grandpa had so many neat clocks around his house, and they all fascinated me! The interest simply stuck and and now I have many different types of clocks around my home as well. One type of clock that I do not have yet, but would love once I get a bigger place is a grandfather clock! I think they are amazing looking. I recently came across a great blog, ClocksBlog.com, with a great post on the issue of cheaply made grandfather clocks being sold more and more frequently these days. In my opinion, a clock is supposed to convey what type of person you are and the style you have. If I'm going to buy a great clock, I want to make sure it's of good quality, like Howard Miller for instance!! If you'd like more information on clocks, check out the Clocks Blog today!

Where is Spring?
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

The weather here once again is bitter and nasty! All the schools around my city are closing down or already canceled. I can't believe the nasty weather this winter has brought us. I think I can speak for everyone in the midwest when I say that Spring will be welcomed with a huge smile!! I can't wait to walk outdoors without layer upon layer! How nice will that be?!?!! I also will not miss scraping off my windows and fish-tailing to work each day!

DirectBuy
Sunday, February 17, 2008 Posted By: Jake - Comments:

Have you ever heard of DirectBuy before? They are a showroom offering things at manufacturer-direct prices. It does cost to become a member of directbuy, but it is so worth it! Monex
Saturday, February 16, 2008 Posted By: Jake - Comments:

I haven't gotten into the whole investing thing yet, but am seriously considering it now that I've gotten a new job. I'm thinking about going through Monex Deposit Company. They are the leader in America when it comes to the investment of precious metals like gold bullion and silver. Right now is a great time to purchase silver, and they can even arrange for it to be shipped to a safe place, like a bank! This is definitely a company that I'm going to look into, especially since they've been around and in business for over thirty years! That's the kind of company that I like doing business with. How about you?!? Interested? If so, take a look at their site today.

Decisions, Decisions
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

Now that I have this new job and I am going to be making more money, there are some things that I would like to upgrade. The main thing on my agenda would be my TV. Right now I have a Vizio 42" LCD TV, but I would like to go even bigger. I think that 50" would be about right, see I have wanted a bigger TV ever since I was at home and saw my Parents 51" TV. With all the gaming I do it would be an even more amazing experience than the TV I currently have. Now I just have to decide on which TV and what price. Decisions, Decisions.

Dale Jr. is now on Hendrick Racing, Kyle Busch is on Joe Gibbs Racing, many people have changed cars and sponsors. So it will take some getting use to who's in what car, but I am glad the season it finally here. Let's Go Racing!

Have you ever heard of Russian mail order brides before? If so, you probably know that they are brides are russian women that many people find on LoversPlanet.com. It can be quite stressful and overwhelming if you don't think of these things ahead of time, so it's good to learn about them now. Learn more on LoversPlanet.com today.

Snow Storm
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

We were supposed to get quite the storm last night, but it appears to have gone north of us. My parents said that they got quite a bit of snow, but we really didn't here at all...which is great!! I'm excited about that, because I'm anxious for all of this snow to disappear!! I'm really anxious for Spring, so the fact that another big snow storm missed us is great! I just hope that my parents are getting through the snow up north where they live!!

Compare Hotels
Wednesday, February 13, 2008 Posted By: Jake - Comments:

Now that I'm in a job where I do some traveling, I find it really useful to find sites online that allow me to compare the hotels in the areas in which I travel. Soon I will be traveling overseas, and never having been there before, I think it will be necessary to do some research, not only of the city that I will be staying in, but also the hotels there. That's the great thing about the internet...you can search for things even if they're out of your country. I particularly like TripTake.com. They make it easy for you to search the cities you will be staying in and find the perfect place to stay. You'll find prices, ratings, Hotel reviews and more! This is wonderful, and exactly what I've been looking for. It's nice to know what others have rated the hotels that I am staying in. Whether you're looking for hotels in Rome, Hotels in Florence Italy, Hotels in Milano Italy, or somewhere completely different, this is definitely a site you may want to check out the next time you're getting ready to book a vacation. I like their slogan, "Look Before You Book". It's so important because you want to enjoy the places that you stay. I know I do!!

I think once you visit this site you'll find it to be as user-friendly and easy to navigate as I did. It's laid out very nicely. You can search for the city or specific hotel, like Venice hotels for instance, that you're looking for and get all the information you could ever need on it! You can even compare hotels which is great if you're looking for the best deal or the nicest hotel! It'd definitely a site that I will be using often, and I hope you do as well!! Check them out when you get the chance...you won't be sorry you did!!

Where is Spring?
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

It's not snowing today, but it is still VERY cold!! I can't believe how chilly it is out there these days. My sister said that she hasn't even wanted to take Kaelyn out in this it's been so cold. They skipped church and everything. I'm glad it's not like a blizzard out there, but I am very looking forward to the temps climbing up into the 60's and 70's...that will be SO nice!! Spring can't come soon enough.

Payday Loans
Saturday, February 09, 2008 Posted By: Jake - Comments:

Have you ever been in a bind and really needed your paycheck a little early? I know I have. Not that long ago my car was broke into. I had to get the window fixed that was smashed. I didn't have the money, so for a while I had to ride around with plastic covering it instead of just getting it repaired. I wish I would have known about the payday loans that are out there these days. I guess there are all kinds, but one of the best I've found is on the site cashadvance-fast.com. It doesn't matter who you are, they will try and help you by getting you the money you need in your account right away. Getting a cash advance is nothing to be ashamed of...it's nice that there are sites like this who are there to help!! We all get in a bind financially once in a while, and that's where a payday loan can really help out. If you're in need of money right away, not wait any longer. Check out this site today and see what they can do for you. They'll deposit the money right into your checking account so you can pay whatever it is that you need to right away. You'll find their site has a wealth of information and is very user-friendly...something I was very impressed with.

Maybe Next Weekend?!
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

Isn't it amazing how quickly kids grow! My sister and her husband had their first baby in November and now she's over 3 months old. This was brought to my attention when Jen was telling me that they were wanting to go and get her three month pictures this weekend. Unfortunately that did not work out as planned, not only because of the nasty weather and bitter temps we're having, but also because Kaelyn scratched her face and they didn't want that in the pictures. I think they're hoping next weekend will work better.

Subtitling
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

I think it's great that there are so many people out there willing to help translate the English language to those who may not speak it as fluently as others. I think it would be fun to have a job in this field. Either as a translator or in subtitling. The satisfaction of helping others understand and be able to communicate with others would be so rewarding...don't you think?!? I may have to look into this more, as it is something I know I would really enjoy doing.

New Business Venture
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

Have you ever heard of an angel investor before? I hadn't until just recently when I was learning more about starting up my own business. I guess that angel investors is basically someone who helps start up a business by offering capital on it in return for ownership equity. It was really interesting to learn more about it as it wasn't a term I'd ever heard before. I'm really looking into starting some sort of a business online for myself, and it's amazing the new information I come across while planning.

It's FRIDAY!
Friday, February 08, 2008 Posted By: Jake - Comments:

It's Friday and I'm home from work!! Life is good.:) I've been looking forward to Friday since the beginning of this week!! For some reason this week just felt so long. I was pretty busy, but it still didn't seem to go very quickly. I'm happy to say that I'm home for the weekend and just going to take it easy. That's what I do most weekends, but this weekend it's going to be so nice since my week seemed so long! I can't wait!! I hope the weekend goes by slowly though...

Books
Thursday, February 07, 2008 Posted By: Jake - Comments:

I was cleaning out my office in my apartment and found lots of old college books that I had never taken back to the bookstore. It got me thinking about all the money I spent on books and never hardly used them. Can anyone else relate to this?! You spend hundreds of dollars getting these books that the professors say you absolutely have to have, then you don't use them hardly at all. Then, at the end of the semester, you take them back and they hardly give you any money back for them. Kind of a waste in my opinion. I don't know what I'm going to do with these books that I never took back.

Busy Week
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

Thankfully my week has started to speed up just a bit! In the beginning there it was going very slowly. Now it's Thursday though, and although Tuesday felt like today...it feels good to know that tomorrow is Friday and then my weekend begins. It's just been a busy week already and I'm really looking forward to a nice relaxing weekend. Maybe I'll even go back and see my niece for a while...it would be fun to see her again.

Wednesday, February 06, 2008 Posted By: Jake - Comments:

Being the type of person who has a great interest in cars of all sorts, you could say that I often find myself online searching for my next vehicle. My Parents
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

My parents are on a flight today, as they are leaving to go on a cruise tomorrow sometime. I was just kind of bored recently and decided to find a site online where I could track their flight. I didn't even know if there was such a thing until I came across FlightView. It's actually a really neat site that allows you to track flights LIVE! I have been watching their flight for a while now. It actually shows the flight moving, the weather, the speed, the altitude...everything. I really am happy I found this. I'm going to have to tell them about it...they'll think it is pretty cool.

Finally...
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

Today is only Monday, and my day has been dragging on forever. I'm finally out of work, but it seemed like such a long day! I don't even know why?! Nothing out of the ordinary went on. I think I'm just tired and wanted the day to go by quickly. You know how that goes...sometimes when you want the day to go by quickly it doesn't...and vise versa. Anyways...I'm glad that it's over and done with and I'm finally home and able to relax a bit!

Car Trouble
Saturday, February 02, 2008 Posted By: Jake - Comments:

There was a guy at work who had left his lights on at work or something and he was outside in the freezing cold trying to get his car to start. I felt so bad for him! As I was driving out of the lot, I realized that I had some jumper cables in my trunk, so I went over and helped him out. Thankfully that did the trick and he was on his way. It's sure nice to help people out when you can. I was happy that it worked and that he didn't have to be stuck outside in the bitter cold any longer.

Mini Vacation
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

I think it would be really fun to go to Las Vegas sometime soon...just to get away for a while. I love my job, but who doesn't need a little vacation from time to time?! Right? I would really enjoy finding a cheap hotel Las Vegas to stay at and just take in all there is to do there. I have only ever been there once, but it was a very long time ago...so going back again would be wonderful! The more I talk about it, the more excited I get about planning this mini vacation.

Real Estate
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

I've been noticing that there's a lot of real estate around my town that's for sale. I know that I"ll be interested in buying a home sometime in the near future, now that I'm out of school and have a good job....so I've been checking around just to see what there is to offer. So far I haven't found anything too great...but I know if I stay patient and keep watching, the perfect house will come along.

Friday, February 01, 2008 Posted By: Jake - Comments:

I'm so happy that it's Friday and I'm home for the weekend!! YEAH!! It's such a good feeling to be home and not have to go into work tomorrow morning. I'm going to take it easy and just relax. I got all the things done that I needed to around my place already...so it's just gonna be a nice weekend watching the super bowl and spending time with Renee!
