Baby Site
Sunday, December 30, 2007 Posted By: Jake - Comments:

Many people who have gotten married know how useful a planning site like The Knot can be. This is a very well known site that's been around for quite some time now. Recently I read a web release that discussed their new addition, Lilaguide.com. This is another very helpful site, but not for those planning a wedding. It's for new parents who are looking for real parent reviews on things like local baby stores, products, services, activities and more. My sister recently had a baby and I know she would definitely appreciate a site like this! Who wouldn't want to get real and honest reviews and opinions from other experienced parents!?! If you're a parent and need to find the best baby products, the best pediatrician, or something else...you definitely need to check out this site for yourself!

New TV?!
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

I've decided that if I get this new job I will be looking for a bigger television. Right now I have an LCD 42 in tv. I like it a lot, but I would love a bigger one. I'd even like to mount it to my wall one day. I think that's really cool when people do that. It'll depend on this job though and how everything goes. If I do get a bigger TV I think I'm going to sell the one I have to my brother-in-law. He's been wanting one for quite some time and would love a 42 in.

New Job
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

I recently applied and interviewed for a different job position with John Deere. I love my job, but this would be a great promotion for me and more of a managerial type of position. I interviewed a while back and should find out this week if I got the position. I'm am hopeful that I did, unless it's not the job that God has for me right now. I guess we'll find out by the 4th! I'm so excited.

Fun Night
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

Last night I was just going to sit at home and dogsit for my parents. My sister and her husband invited me and Zoe up to their house though so I could see them and spend time with kaelyn. I obviously took them up on the offer...as I love spending time with my little niece. My girlfriend even came with me too...and we had the best time! I'm glad I get to see them again over New Years.

Christmas Lights
Friday, December 28, 2007 Posted By: Jake - Comments:

I don't know about you, but one of the greatest things about driving around this time of year is looking at all the Christmas lights. I just love how creative people get this time of year with their decorations. One thing I always wondered though was how much electricity one has to use to light up their house each night during the month of December. I think it's pretty expensive and that's why LED string lights are a great way to go. They last for a very long time and are energy efficient. If you're looking for lights like this for your Christmas decorations, take a look at this site today! You won't be disappointed.

This Weekend
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

I'm looking forward to this weekend, as I'm going to be able to be home with my parents and just relax. Everyone is gone now after the holidays, so it's just us and it's so quiet. I miss my family members that had to head back home and to other Christmas celebrations, but hopefully will get to see them all again soon. I think this weekend I"m going to be dogsitting some for my parents which will be fun too. Zoe is needing some attention after having all these people around lately.

Great Site
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

I really enjoy browsing the web and coming across new and different sites that I think people will enjoy. I recently came across a fun site that has different fun quizzes and things for people to do. You then get a code to put a badge on your site about the quiz you took. For instance, I recently checked out the quiz on rating my blog to see if it's a family friendly site. It was found to be a family friendly site so I got the code to place the badge at the end of this post on my blog. It's pretty fun.

Can't Wait for New Year's
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

This New Year's I get to spend it with my niece Kaelyn. I am very excited for this because no one else will be there but my parents, so I can hold her all night long. It will be such a good time, and hopefully she won't be fussy.

Godfrey Group
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

Have you ever heard of the Godfrey Group before? I didn't know much about them until just recently when I ran across their site. If you haven't ever heard of them before, they are a family owned business that is well known for their trade show displays. Quality is what they're known for best. What I liked about this company is that they can actually customize Trade Show Displays for you at outstanding prices guaranteed. They also offer a free design guide and display gallery. I was really impressed with all I learned about this great company, and I think you will be too. Check out their site today to learn more.

Quality Time
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

My brother and his wife, along with Emry headed down to her parents house to spend the holidays with them. I know I probably won't see them again for quite some time, so I'm really glad that I got to spend lots of time with them. The night before they left, Renee came over and we spent lots of time with Emry while Josh and Di watched a movie. It was fun!

Lights
Thursday, December 27, 2007 Posted By: Jake - Comments:

When I go to a wedding, one of the first things I notice are the lights that people use. When I get married, I want to be sure and use beautiful lights, but they will be energy efficient lights. LED string lighting or rope lighting is perfect for weddings and they are energy efficient. They also won't break and are easier to work with than other lights. If you're looking for great lights to use for your wedding, and want them to be energy efficient as well as user-friendly then check out LED lights today!! You can take a look at their site to learn more for yourself about wedding light.

New Job?!
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

I am really anxious to hear if I got this new job that I recently interviewed for. I will find out on the fourth and can hardly wait! It's going to be a huge promotion for me and more along the lines of what I picture myself doing. I would more of a supervisor...hiring and firing type of position. It would be a great opportunity for me and I would still be working for John Deere which would be great!

Bed Bugs
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

If you've ever had bed bugs, you know how bad of a situation it can be. I have never had bed bugs, but know people who have...and from what I hear it is not fun!! Having a bed bug infestation can bring about many problems. One big problem isn't just the pain it brings those who come in contact with them, but also the trouble of getting rid of them once they've infested your home. I recently found a great site for anyone looking to get rid of bed bugs. They offer information on what bed bugs are, how you get them and how you can get rid of them using vacuuming, steaming, etc. Check it out and see what you think and learn how to get rid of bedbugs.

Emry and Kaelyn
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

My little niece and nephew are absolute dolls!! I had SOOO much fun getting to be around them over the holidays. Emry is such a sweetheart...I sure wish that he lived closer. I'm glad that Kaelyn lives so close, as I will at least get to see her every once in a while. I will miss Emry though. Having both babies around each other was fun to see. We got so many cute pictures of them. It seems like it was difficult though to get both awake and happy at the same moment. Oh well..it was still fun taking pics of them.

Landscaping
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

My sister and her husband bought a house this past summer. They are wanting to do some landscaping to their home this next spring and are looking for all the accessories that they might want. One thing that they were discussing was getting landscape lighting. I'm going to share with them what I've learned about LED landscape lighting. They are energy efficient lighting that can be very cost effective the whole year through. I learned that they can actually cost 90% less to use than other lights out there. They're going to love hearing this, as they want something that will add value to their home while still costing them as little to use as possible. I can't wait to share this news with them. If you'd like to learn more about LED lights, check out this site today.

Back in CF
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

I was going to spend the whole two weeks off from work at my parent's house, but my girlfriend had to work down in the city where we both live so I thought I'd ride down with her and then do a little cleaning at my place. I will probably head back to my parents place tomorrow sometime...but thought it would be nice to keep Renee company tonight on the ride back to CF. I'm just bumming tonight and cleaning up my place some.

Football Fans
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

My brother-in-law has always said how cool he thinks it would be to go to the Super Bowl game someday...but getting super bowl tickets can be really difficult most times. I'm going to have to tell him about the site, TicketsNow that I recently learned about. They're a great site that offers premium even tickets, like those for the Super Bowl. What's great about this site is that they're going to have a large supply of tickets for the Super Bowl and those who are anxious to attend it. Learn more about this site by vising it today!! If you're like my brother-in-law and love football, then you won't be disappointed you did!!!

Nice Weather
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

The weather sure has been nice this holiday season. They were predicting lots of snow and other yucky weather for this part of the country...but it turns out not to be nearly as bad as they had thought it would be. I'm glad about this, because it makes it easy to get from place to place that we need to go to for all of the family Christmas's that we have.

Nice Break
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

So far this has been such a nice break from work. I'm staying with my parents for the two weeks that I have off and it's been great! I've just been able to relax and enjoy my time off. It's nice being able to spend time with family and enjoy their company. I've gotten a lot of work done on the new website that I'm creating, which I will share with you all very soon. I'm very excited to get it up and running!

Snowboarding
Tuesday, December 25, 2007 Posted By: Jake - Comments:

I don't really like the winter weather, but snowboarding is a fun sport that I've heard many enjoy. I would like to get involved in doing this...as it would be fun and great exercise. If I get into the sport of snowboarding though, I'd definitely like to find some really warm gear that would last me a long time. I'm thinking volcom clothing would be a great thing for me to possibly by for myself. Who knows, I'll have to look into it more and see if that's something I want to consider.

Babies
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

What a fun Christmas we had this year!! It started out on Friday when I was able to spend the night up at my sister's house and see her and her husband and Kaelyn!! Then all weekend long I got to spend time with both Kaelyn and Emry!! It was great! Having the two babies around for the holidays sure made it a special time. I'm home for a couple of weeks so I'll definitely be able to spend more time with them! YEAH!

Loans
Friday, December 21, 2007 Posted By: Jake - Comments:

I'm sure many of us know what a Personal Loan is...as there are probably lots of us who have had to take one out at some point or another. In my experience with personal loans, I feel it's important to look around for a loan that's going to be right for you. Don't just jump at the first one you find. I've been searching around recently for personal loans, and came across a site that I found to be interesting and thought I'd share with all of you. Personal Loan is a great site that I found with a lot of information about personal loans. Not only do they simply give you information on the two different types of personal loans, but also how you can go about getting them, whether it be online, through a bank...even if you have bad credit, this site has advice for you! For anyone looking for information regarding personal loans and even those who are interested in applying for them...this site may be just what you've been looking for. Personally I found it to be the exact thing I've been looking for. Don't take my word for it though...check out their very user-friendly and informative site today! You won't be disappointed.

So Young
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

It seems that there are so many young stars these days becoming parents way too young. Not only that, but stars who are having children and who aren't married. This is just on my mind because Britney Spears younger sister just announced that she is pregnant. I just think it's sad that a 16 year old would be having a baby...she is so young and now the spectacle of the entire world. I believe it's important to wait until your married.

ERATS
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

My sister is from Minnesota and she was recently sharing with me a web release she found a bout the East Range Academy of Technology and Science which is a charter high school there in her state. This high school is actually sponsored by the online university, Capella University. They opened for their very first day of school in September of this year. ERATS provides a great curriculum for students who are at all levels of achievement. If you'd like to learn more after hearing about ERATS as I did, then definitely check out their site. They offer a wealth of information on online phd programs.

New TV
Wednesday, December 19, 2007 Posted By: Jake - Comments:

My brother-in-law was just telling me how much he'd like to have a new plasma television down in his basement. They recently just painted it and now that it's starting to come together as a family room, he'd love to have a plasma stand and television down there soon. I may have to tell my sister this, because it would be a great Christmas idea for him if she hasn't found him anything yet. I'm sure a new television and stand down in their basement would really look great and would help bring that room together even more.

Friday
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

This Friday I'm heading back to my parents house and then going to go up to my sister's and her husbands house for the night with them. I can't wait to go there, as I get to see my niece again...as well as meet my new nephew. He lives in Texas so this is the first time I will get to see him. Having these two new babies around over the holidays will sure be nice! I'm really looking foreword to it.

Weight loss program
Monday, December 17, 2007 Posted By: Jake - Comments:

I'm sure there are many people out there who have tried a number of different weight loss programs and pills. I have never tried specific products like others out there, but I know how hard it can be to lose weight. Many people are ready to find something that truly works, and I may have just found what you've been looking for. The magnetic diet is a weight loss program that helps it's users learn how to combine food to create invigorating magnetism. Basically by use of this concept you can be happier and healthier, instead of just the opposite as many people are now. If you'd like to lose weight and keep it off, I recommend you check out this program today!! You won't be disappointed!

Blogging for Money
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

I really enjoy using my blog for personal use, as well as to make a little extra cash here and there. Ever since Google changed their whole page rank thing...I have not been having the best luck as far as blogging for money goes....especially with certain sites. I think it's too bad that this change was made, because blogging for money was a huge thing for me and I'm sure many others out there as well. Oh well, what are you gonna do I guess?!?

Celebrity Apes
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

I really enjoy surfing the web daily. I like finding all of the unique sites available out there for people to enjoy. Recently, I came across a really fun site, CelebrityApes.com. Basically, the site's title explains it all. Each day there is a new celebrity released as an ape, like the one of Madonna that I have attached to this post. It's really quite humorous to look at all of the different pictures and see which celebrities are being depicted. I am definitely planning on checking back with this site frequently, and I bet you'll want to as well once you check it out. Take a look and see what you think, and then share with others that you think might enjoy it as well.

Christmas Shopping
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

Where I live there are many shopping malls and stores. It's funny to go out and see all of the shoppers who are trying to hurry and get their Christmas shopping done in time for Christmas. With the weather being the way it has been lately...many people have not been able to get out and get all of their shopping done until now. I guess there are many stores out there that are actually going to be staying open all day and night because of this. I'm glad I have all my shopping done!

Web Hosting
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

I love everything about computers, the internet...anything along those lines. I really enjoy finding new sites and things to help further my knowledge about what's out there to help with site building. I absolutely love creating websites. I recently came across the site, http://www.webhostingchoice.com. This is a site that helps people find the right web host for their own site, whether it be a personal site or a business site. It's an amazingly user friendly site which I really appreciate, and I'm sure others will as well. It makes it super easy for people to find the right plans right for their particular site that they're working on. Even if you're not all that familiar with web hosting, they explain it in very understandable terms on this site. It's a site that everyone can use and enjoy...so check it out today.

Exercising
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

I definitely am missing the walks and exercise that Renee and I began doing this past fall. We kind of stopped doing those things like that when the weather turned so cold. I'm thinking we should try and start exercising again...maybe at the university workout center or something indoors. Even though it's cold out...doesn't mean that we still can find some kind of walking or running to do together. I look forward to it.

Splitters
Saturday, December 15, 2007 Posted By: Jake - Comments:

Where I work they have many high definition televisions hooked up. I have been looking for some HDMI splitters for them, as that is something they're really needing to get them all working. I recently came across some that I think would work really well and are available at great prices. I really enjoy having a job where they give me responsibility to do things like this. It makes me feel good to be able to use the knowledge that I have of the web to help them find the products that they need.

Truck Accessories
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

Ok, so if you're like me then you probably spend hours a day just searching the web for great sites. I especially enjoy finding all the great sites out there dealing with vehicles. This has always been a passion of mine and somewhat of a hobby I guess you could say. I recently came across the site, Buyautotruckaccessories.com. They always have outstandingly low prices on things like a push bar for instance. Some of you may better know it as a grille guard or bull bar. Their quality push bars come from manufacturers like Steelcraft. They're made of heavy-duty corrosion resistant stainless steel...so you know they're going to last! Learn more about these products on this site today!

Need to Clean
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

I suppose I better get off of my computer and get something done now. I really need to clean my place, wrap some gifts and do some laundry before I head back to my parents house for the holidays. I'm really looking forward to the break...but wish I didn't have to do so much work to get ready. Oh well...that's how it goes I guess. I'll be back on later to blog some more.

Air Ambulance
Friday, December 14, 2007 Posted By: Jake - Comments:

Have you ever heard of airambulance.net before?? If so, you probably knew that it's a great place for information about air ambulance services available in the United States. When I was browsing this site I was impressed with all it had to offer. They have medical specialists who take patients by flight in an air ambulance with flight nurses, paramedics and great medical equipment that is top of the line. I guess what I was most impressed with was the experience their staff has. They have over 20 years experience which is important when you're dealing with those who are depending on you for care. They are supported by hospitals and offer their services 24 hours a day. I think it's wonderful that there's a site like this and I think you will be as impressed with them as I was. Learn more by checking out their site today. Take a look at all they have to offer and even give them a call if you'd like to learn even more and get a quote at 1-800-827-0745. You won't be disappointed with what you find. Take a look today! Their site is laid out very nicely so you'll be sure to find the information you're looking for.

More fussiness
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

My sister was telling me that her daughter has been quite fussy lately. She is 6 weeks old and has been a very pleasant baby. For some reason though, the past few days she has been really fussy...especially at night. Jen and Scott think she's just overly tired and fighting going to sleep. Sometimes babies are just silly like that I guess. Hopefully for them she ends this fussy state soon.

Furniture
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

I've recently been looking more and more for furniture for my apartment. I started out with odds and ends that were given to me...but would like something new and more my taste. In looking at the site, Furniture From Home, I really found a lot of what I've been looking for...especially living room and bedroom furniture. My sister said it was furniture similar to that she had seen at the home of her wedding photographer where they had their engagement pictures taken. She absolutely loved it! I really love the quality of the items and how modern they look at this furniture store. It's not everyone's style, but it's definitely mine. I was expecting furniture like this to be thousands of dollars a piece...as it really looks very nice. The great thing about it is that it was very reasonable in my opinion...especially for the quality of furniture that they provide. This site offers so much for anyone who is interesting in finding contemporary and beautiful furniture online! I really was pleased with the layout as well...as it made it very easy for me to find the things I was wanting to look at. Take a look at their site today and see what you think!

Friday!
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

YYYEEEAHHH....it's FRIDAY! I'm always happy when it's Friday...especially after a long week. Hopefully today goes quickly for me because I'm looking forward to another weekend just to hang out and relax. It's basically my last weekend before I go back for Christmas and then will busy a lot of the time. I'm pretty sure I'll just be relaxing and wrapping Christmas gifts.

VoIP Call Center
Thursday, December 13, 2007 Posted By: Jake - Comments:

I really like technology and learning new things about it. That's why I find myself browsing the web quite frequently looking for the newest things out there. Recently I came across a web release put out by Xpander Communications and found it to be quite interesting. They are providing a new approach to VoIP Call Center Phone Systems. Their Nimbus VoIP Call Center Edition is much different and is much better for the customer. Basically it allows for a low upfront cost, quick installation within 7 business days and no addition investment for moving or adding. I think that's wonderful!! I was quite impressed to learn more about this Nimbus Call Center and think you will be too. Take a look at their site today to learn more!

Keep it up!
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

My brother wrote recently and updated me on how things were going with his online gradschool classes!! By the sounds of it he's really enjoying them and is doing VERY well!! He already found out that he aced his two finals and has a 4.0 for the first quarter! I couldn't be happier for him! He's got a lot going on...he works full time and has a new baby...so to get that good of grades is wonderful!! Keep up the good work.

Blogging for Money
Wednesday, December 12, 2007 Posted By: Jake - Comments:

I really enjoy blogging. I especially like doing it to make a little bit of extra money here and there. I haven't been able to do as much of it as I used to be able to do, but I still try to every now and then. It's so fun to keep a personal diary of how things are going in my life, as well as make some extra money while blogging about things that interest me. If you don't blog for money you should really look into it...it's great!

Orlando
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

Orlando is definitely one of my most favorite places to go on vacation. I would love to go back sometime, especially once I have children of my own! They just have so much to offer there. When I do plan a vacation to Orlando...I'm going to look into OrlandoFunTickets.com. This is a great site that offers discounts on tickets to all kinds of theme parks and attractions. Whether you're looking for cheap Seaworld Tickets or tickets to Disney World, dinner shows, or something else...this site will have it!! They guarantee the lowest prices! Planning a vacation is stressful enough without having to worry about the cost of tickets to things. Let this site help take that stress off your mind so you can simply enjoy your vacation.

Fussy Baby
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

My sister said that Kaelyn has been pretty fussy lately. I guess she's going through a growth spurt which is part of it...but they also think that she's just more fussy than usual for some reason. She's usually a very happy and content baby so it's very out of character for her to be so fussy for much of the day. Jen's going to ask her doctor next time they go about her fussiness...but hopefully it gets better by then.

Television Shows
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

There's this show on television called TAPS I believe. It's about ghost hunters who can find out if different places are supposedly haunted. It's not really the type of television show that I like to watch, but I know that many people find this to be quite interesting. I saw that it was on tonight and I decided to just pass by it. It's not something that interests me much, or something that I have any desire to watch.

Wholesale Flowers
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

Although I have never planned a wedding yet, I remember when my sister did and boy was it a lot of work. I remember the thing they spent the most time on was trying to figure out which flowers they wanted. It wasn't hard finding flowers they liked, it was more finding flowers that would last and not die...as well as finding them in a reasonable price range. When I get married I don't want to have that stress...so I'm going to look into FiftyFlowers.com. This is a site that makes finding great wholesale flowers easy and affordable. They provide flowers for wedding events and their selection is outstanding. Whether you're looking for roses, calla lilies, rose petals or something else...you're sure to find it here. Take a look at this site and see what you think!!

That time of year
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

It seems that it's that time of year when it is dark outside more than it is light. I go to work in the dark, and then when I come home it's already starting to get dark again. It's just kind of depressing, because I don't have much of a chance during the week to enjoy the light of day. That's why on the weekends if it's nice enough I like to spend some time outdoors. Maybe this weekend will be nice?!? We'll see I guess.

So Cold
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

It's sure cold out lately. I am SO glad that i've paid extra for a few months to have my car in a garage. I don't have to worry about scraping it or letting it thaw before I take it to work in the morning. I just get in and go. It's so nice! I've never had that luxury before this year...because in college I was always just parked in a big parking lot with everyone else. I do hope that it warms up some though...as I don't like walking outdoors in this cold.

Las Vegas
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

I've always said what a fun place Las Vegas would be to go on a trip sometime. I went there when I was quite young, but don't remember it much. All I can remember are the big Las Vegas Hotels and all the lights! I would love to go back now that I'm older and enjoy their Las Vegas Shows, attractions, tours and much more!! Now I can do that without having to worry about spending a ton of money because I found the site, Best of Vegas. They make it easy to get great prices on hotels, shows, attractions, specials and more! If you're like me and think it would be fun to check out Las Vegas sometime soon...take a look at this site today! You won't be sorry you did.

Painting
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

It sounds like my brother in law and my sister are finally going to be painting in their basement. This is something that they've been wanting to do since they moved in so they're pretty excited to finally have the time to do it. I'm not sure what color they will be painting it, but I know it will be nicer than the ugly color that it is now. When they moved in they couldn't believe the ugly colors this guy had used in the house. They've started painting some rooms, but the family room downstairs is the one that will be next. I am looking forward to seeing it.

New Job Position
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

I'm really looking forward to Monday because I have an interview within the company I work for, for a Quality Engineer Position. This is a position that I've been wanting and working hard to get for quite some time and I'm really hoping and praying that it works out to my benefit. I have three interviews for this position and can't wait to find out if I get the job or not. It would be a great position, as well as a wonderful promotion for me!

Tickets
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

Recently I thought it would be fun to get Miami Heat Tickets for my girlfriend and I. I looked and looked! Little did I know how hard it is to actually get tickets to a game like this. They are either sold out or in a location that I do not want to spend money on sitting. If I'm gonna spend money like that, I want to have great seats! I was getting pretty bummed to have found this out...until I found Premium Seats USA. They are a great site that makes it easy to find tickets to NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL events, concerts and so much more. You'll be amazed at the variety they offer. Don't stress over getting tickets anymore...just check out this site today!! I believe you'll be as impressed as I was with all they have to offer.

New Car
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

It sounds like my parents are in the process of looking for another vehicle. They would like to get a different Escape. My sister and her husband are considering buying their old Escape from them...which would make a really nice family car for them. Jen and Scott even have someone to buy their vehicle already which is really great for them. Hopefully it all works out soon and my parents find a vehicle in the near future.

New Blog
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

I'm thinking about starting up another blog. I don't even think I'm going to be using for money, just going to use it for my own personal use. I enjoy making blogs and really enjoy personalizing them in my own way. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it yet, but I am going to put much thought into it. I always like the challenge of coming up with something new and unique. Hmm...I wonder what I'll come up with this time?!?

It will be a refreshing break and will get me rejuvenated before I start up again. I can't wait!

Soon enough..
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

Last night we were watching one of the reality television shows that we often watch on Mondays...The Hills. It was actually the season finale, so for us it was kind of a big deal. I really thought it was a good episode, but as always...they kind of left viewers hanging as to what will happen. I suppose they do that to keep us waiting for the next season...but I just wanted to find out some of the loose ends that they left hanging. Oh well...soon enough there will be a new season to watch.

Growing Fast
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

I was just thinking today that my nephew is already one month old, and on Thursday my niece will be 6 weeks old!! They are growing up so quickly. I haven't been around too many babies in my life, and I am just amazed how quickly these two babies are growing!! They are gaining weight and growing in length so quickly! They also have changed in appearance so much. They're rounding out and get cuter and cuter by the day!

More babies
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

Ever since my sister and sister-in-law got pregnant (and now had their babies), it seems that I am hearing more and more people who are pregnant. It's weird to think that there are so many people, not much older than me or my age that are having babies left and right!! It was weird enough that my sister had a baby, but to have people my age having babies is just crazy to me. Wow...it's making me feel kind of old. I can't believe how time flies and how quickly it goes!

Traveling to Florida?
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

I'm not sure if you've heard of Lowery's or not...they are involved in Sales and Rental of property in Florida. Even if you haven't heard of them, you may have heard of a site that they created, Thinkflorida.co.uk. In realizing that the internet has a ton of information pertaining to Florida for vacationers to make use of...they also realized that there's so much and it's all spread out over the internet, which isn't very convenient for people. It could take days and days for people to find all the information they're looking for when you're talking about the wealth of it on the web. That's why they created this site, which offers information in one place. People will find a car rental service, ticket service and booking services for Orlando Holiday Villas and much more. Take a look today and see if this is a site that you'd like to use sometime.

Time Flies
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

Can you believe it's almost the middle of the week already?!? My work day is almost coming to an end already...which mean tomorrow is quickly approaching and it means that we're already halfway through the week almost! My weeks just fly by. Before I know it it's already Friday and the weekend...then my work week begins again. Sometimes I don't mind time going by so quickly...and others I wish it would slow down just a bit.

Snow Days
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

The weather where I live isn't too bad today, but it sounds like further south in the state it is not nice at all. In fact, many schools were canceled today due to the weather which means it's pretty bad out. It's good that they do that on bad days, because who wants their children out and about when the road conditions are dangerous. I know I wouldn't. I'm sure the teachers aren't too happy though...as it only means more days added to the end of the school year.

Slow Computer
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

Wow...lately my computer has been really slow. I think I may be getting too many documents and pictures on it, because it's ever since I started saving all my pictures from my digital camera on here that it really began to slow down. I may have to start saving all my pictures to disk or CD so it does not bog down my computer any more than it needs to be. I hope that's all it is. Because this is a newer computer, and I don't want to have to buy a new one.

Jail Time
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

Well it sounds like Michael Vick will be doing time for the crimes that he's committed. I was happy to hear that even though he's a well known athlete...that they're still going to make him do his time for the cruelty to dogs that he committed. 23 months is a long time to be in jail, and it will give him time to think about what he's done and hopefully come out a changed person who's more compassionate to animals.

Flipping a house
Friday, December 07, 2007 Posted By: Jake - Comments:

I really enjoy those home shows that they have on TV. The one I especially like is where people flip their homes. Basically, real estate flipping is where someone purchases a home and sells it within a year or so. On this show they flip the house and redo it into a completely different home with a lot of much needed remodeling. I just think it's fun to see how fun to see the work they can do on a home in such a short amount of time.

Drug Rehabs
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

There are so many people out there who are in search for the right rehabilitation program. The thing with looking for alcohol rehabs is that it's so important to take care in your search and find the right treatment center that's right for you! There isn't one program that will be good for every single person...that's why it's important for people to look around carefully. I have never experienced this, but I know people who have. For true recovery it's important to have a rehab program that will support you in a way that you need.

Meeting Emry
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

In two weeks I will finally get to meet my nephew, Emry. I am excited because I have been able to spend so much time with my niece, Kaelyn, that it will be nice to see them together and hold what ever baby I want. It's funny, just like Kaelyn, I'm sure Emry's pictures won't do him justice. So now is the count down to Christmas and spending time with family.

bettercaring
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

For anyone interested in finding out what their care options are as far as care homes goes, for themselves or for someone else...I have found the perfect site for you! Bettercaring is a site that recently came across. It serves as a resource for people who have questions about care, either for themselves personally or a loved one. This site not only helps you find the right kind nursing home arrangement for your particular situation, but also offers daily care news and views, helpful tips from experts, as well as a community forum. The forum is pretty neat because it allows users to talk about their own personal experiences. I could go on and on about this site, but you won't get the full effect of all that they offer until you check out their site for yourself. Take a minute and head over there today. I think you'll be as impressed as I was with all that they have to offer.

Good Movie
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

I was just flipping through the channels and found the movie Raising Helen on TV. I hadn't seen this movie for a long time, and was happy to see that it was on...as it's one that both my girlfriend and I like very much. I caught it when it was towards the beginning so we've been able to watch much of it already. It's such a good movie....with a really good story line. Any one who hasn't watched it really should sometime. It's a great movie!

Maternity Clothes
Tuesday, December 04, 2007 Posted By: Jake - Comments:

Having just had a sister who was pregnant, I know all about maternity clothes and how expensive they can be. My sister tried not to buy to many, however...towards the end of her pregnancy, it was hard not to with her belly continuing to grow and grow. Now that she's had her baby and back down to the size she was before, I think she's put all of her maternity clothes away for now. She said that she will get them back out the next time she is pregnant. Better to have them put away for now so they're not just taking up room in the closet I think.

More to come...
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

I suppose I better quit my blogging for now and get some work done. As much as I like to blog, I must get to work. I'll try and get on later in the day and do some work on the computer. It's so hard to pry myself away sometimes...but I know that during the day I have to get some things done for work. I'll write more later....

Professional Search Engine Marketing
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

Do you know anything about professional search engine marketing? I didn't until just recently and learned that a professional search engine marketing agency is useful when you're trying to promote a website in the search engines on the web. Websites can market themselves on sites like Google, Yahoo, and MSN. You can include different campaigns like pay perk click advertising, paid inclusion, affiliate marketing and so much more! This can be very useful to many sites. By utilizing what search engine marketing agencies have to offer, it helps you stay intune with the changes these major sites are constantly making. A good search engine marketing agency will really give you excellent leads, sales and phone calls. Agencies like Google and yahoo are certified companies. Google has Adwords Qualiied Company and Yahoo has an Ambassador program. Different things like search engine optimization, landing page development, pay per call, video marketing, and so much more can be implemented by professional search engine marketing agencies. If you'd like to learn more about professional search engine marketing agencies and how they can help you, take a look at this site today.

Reality Television
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

There are so many reality television shows on these days. There is everything imaginable out there. I like to watch some of the shows...but some of them are just stupid. For instance, you have your American Idol television show and then over the years you have others who try and copy the show. I like the original shows that were put out there and don't care for the newer ones that seem to be a duplicate.

Snowmobiling
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

Growing up in the midwest I've definitely seen my share of the winter weather that many people love. You may be asking, who loves winter weather?!? Well, the snowmobilers of course. They just love this kind of weather. Snowmobiling is especially fun in Lanaudière, the snowmobile capital. They actually received 18 inches of snow just this past week. More is yet to come! If you love snowmobiling and the winter weather...you should definitely check out Lanaudière today for a fun Snowmobile vacation!

Press Release:
Lanaudière, Snowmobile Country,
announces the opening of 350 km of trails

For more than 30 years, Lanaudière has been a snowmobiling capital!

Rawdon, November 30, 2007 – Mother Nature has been busy during the past week, covering the Lanaudière landscape with an average of 45 cm (18 inches) of snow and more in the northern part of the region. Snowmobile enthusiasts can now start their engines for a new season with 350 kilometres (161 miles) of trails open in northern Lanaudière.

These are the areas that are currently accessible, where conditions are good with new snow coverage:

• Mont-Tremblant National Park (start at Pimbina entrance)
• Certain areas in Saint-Zénon
• Certain areas in Saint-Michel-des-Saints

For precise and accurate information, contact the snowmobile clubs concerned directly (Club Saint-Donat at 819 424-7988; Club snowmobile du royaume at 450 884-5762).

To find out about trail conditions (updated regularly), weather, touring suggestions or order your free copy of our new snowmobile trail map, just visit www.snowmobilecountry.ca or call 1 800 363-2788.

Please note that lakes are not yet frozen over.

Tourisme Lanaudière reminds you of the importance of driving safely and respectfully. Permission to pass through private property is difficult to conserve and represents a privilege to users. Respect for property and words of thanks to owners are gestures that are greatly appreciated, and it is equally important to respect signs and trail markers.

Blogging
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

I just love blogging. It's so much fun to keep a sort of online journal of what's going on in my life and be able to share it with others. I also like the fact that I can make some extra money by use of my blog as well. I mean, who doesn't like a little extra money now and then?! I know I do. It's so easy too! Whenever I get some spare time I just do a little blogging. It sure makes a difference in the old wallet over a months time. It's such a blessing to have this extra way to make money.

Happy Birthday Mom
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

Today is my mom's birthday!! I feel bad that I can't make it back to see her, but being in the middle of a work week it would be difficult to get back. It sounds like she and my dad are just going to spend the evening at home and he's going to make her her favorite meal...fried potatoes and meatballs. Yum!! If you think of it...head over to her blog and wish her a happy birthday. She'd be tickled!! :)

Big Baby
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

I'm looking forward to the next time I go back home, as I'm sure I will get to see my niece again. From what I hear she's already changed just since Thanksgiving. She's getting SO big!! She is really filling out and looking more and more chubby...which is so cute on babies. I can't wait to see her and see her chubby little self for myself instead of hearing it from everyone else. Sounds like she is eating well.

Baby Gifts
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

There are so many baby gifts that one can give...but I'd have to say the best would be the personalized gifts that people give. These kinds of gifts mean more and will have long lasting meaning to both the parents and the child for years to come. The Nest Baby Shop has these types of personalized baby gifts that I speak of. They offer cute and creative gifts, not only for babies, but also for parents and siblings. Whether you're looking for a clothing, announcements, blankets...or something else, this site has it all!! Take a look at this great site today and see what I'm talking about. They have so much to offer at prices you won't find anywhere else!

Dogs
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

I just love my parents dog. I'd sure like to have a dog someday. They have a Bichon Frise and she's the sweetest little dog around. She just loves people and is a wonderful family dog. The only thing about Zoe is that she hasn't grown up around babies. So, now that there are grandchildren in the family she's having a hard time adjusting. I think she'll get used to them with time...she just needs to be around them more.

Bad Weather?!?
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

We had some pretty nasty weather this past weekend. Now it's looking like the weather could get pretty bad today and then this next weekend again. I sure hope they're wrong...as weather like this makes it difficult to go anywhere or do anything. I guess if the weather does get bad I'm just going to have to spend another weekend in the warmth of my own place and just relax a bit. I guess that's not all bad.

Some years I have the hardest time deciding what I can get for my girlfriend's parents for Christmas. This year I came across a great site, Gourmet Gift Baskets that got me thinking that this might be a gift that they'd like. I'm looking to get corporate Christmas baskets for them...as I think this is something they'd really enjoy. They include the finest gourmet food and are just a very unique gift that many would appreciate. I'm going to have to remember this site for other occasions as well...because they have something for everything from thank yous to new baby gift baskets. If you're in search of a unique gift to give this holiday season...check out this site today!

Quality Time
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

I have really enjoyed driving around town lately. Now that Thanksgiving is all done with...everyone is putting up their Christmas lights and decorations. My girlfriend and I enjoy driving around and seeing all of the pretty lights and decorations. Maybe that's something we'll have to do every weekend. It's relaxing and just a fun way to spend some quality time together!

Yucky Weather
Posted By: Jake - Comments:

It sounds like the weather back home was not nice this weekend. Where my parents live and where my sister lives...it sounds like they got their first official winter storm. At least it happened on a weekend when they were all off work and could be at home. Not only was it snowing and icing...it was also bitter cold which makes it even more miserable to be outside when you don't have to be. I'm glad everyone stayed indoors and enjoyed the warmth of their homes this weekend.
