My sister and her husband are currently in the moving process...and from I hear, moving can be quite a big job!! That's where Relocation.com comes in. They are a great site that I recently came across that makes it easy for you to find the resources you need when moving. I'm definitely going to share this site with my sister, because they move in just a few short days. This site is so great because they can help you with all kinds of things. If you're looking for an apartment, a home, a real estate agent, information about auto shipping, even international movers...the list goes on and on with the things they are able to help you with. I was just amazed at all they do and offer. I'm going to keep this site in mind when I move in the future. Moving can be such a stressful and overwhelming time and that's why Relocation.com wants to help. So, if you're needing information on real estate, mortgage, moving, apartments, insurance, jobs, home improvement, or something else in the area where you're moving....take a look at this site and see how they can help.

I have always been the type of person who is into computers and technology. I pretty much have taught myself everything I know, but at times it gets hard to do. One thing I've always wanted to do is set up my own technology website and an IT Community. Although I do know the basics of doing this, I don't know everything by any means and have many questions that I still have not gotten answered. For months I have been searching the web for a quality site that makes it easy for people with questions like I do to learn more about web development. I was excited when I came across the site, Discussweb, recently because it's exactly what I've been looking for. This site makes it possible for people to have discussions with technology experts. You can ask them all kinds of questions pertaining to a number of topics such as, web development, software programming, quality assurance, web hosting and SOO much more! If you're like me and looking for a great place to go for IT discussions, this is the place for you. So far I have only browsed through this site and already it's helped me just by reading some of the questions that others have had about different subjects. It's really a lot of fun for those who are into technology as much as I am. I liked to hear that this site is continually trying to improve itself so it better meets the needs of those who need help in this area. I also really appreciated the way that the site is laid out. It's really user-friendly and easy to navigate. It's layout makes it really easy for me to find exactly what I am looking for in a short amount of time. If you're serious about technology and need answers to your questions from people who know what they're talking about, then you should check this site out today.

I don't know about you, but over the years I've become a pretty big hockey fan. I've even been to a few games. The funny thing is, I'm not much into sports, but I think hockey is just great! As much time as I spend on the computer, I have come across many sites promoting different sports, but never one that I liked that dealt with hockey. Well, that is until now! Hockeysfuture.com is a great site that I recently came across, that offers all kinds of information on players, rankings, news, teams, nhl draft, and so much more! Basically, anything you're wanting to find about the NHL, you'll find it here. They even have a great part of the site dedicated to hockey forums. This gives people the opportunity to discuss the sport of hockey and all kinds of topics surrounding it. Take a look at their site...I think you'll find it as neat as I did.

I'm sure by now, many of you have probably heard the press about the BP Whiting Refinery. The important thing to note, in my opinion, when it comes to news like this, is that there is usually two sides to a story...those of which may not have exactly the same information to present. What story am I referring to you might be asking? The Chicago Tribune recently released information regarding BP and the impact that they are having on the environment. BP feels that they were misrepresented in this article, because they are a committed organization that tries to minimize the effect that their actions have on the environment. In fact, according to the BP Whiting Fact Sheet, BP not only is only dumping completely treated water into Lake Michigan, with no sludge in it, but the water discharge is well within legal limits. They are continually trying to improve the way they do things to make sure that the environment is as safe as possible, and even work officials to make sure that their plans do just that. Before you make any opinions about this story, please read more on this site. It's important to be informed before you make a decision on which side you're going to back. This is a paid post.

I don't know about you, but I'm always up for learning something new....especially when it comes to bettering a business or organization in a positive way. Seeing how that's the type of person I am, I was very intrigued by Sara Orem's, a faculty member at Capella University, new book, Appreciative Coaching: A Positive Process for Change. What is a Appreciative Coaching you ask? Well, it's basically the idea that we can help organizations to flourish by focusing on the strengths and positives that employees bring to our company. When you think about it, this really makes sense. If you're lifting someone up, pointing out their strengths, this will help to bring about positive change in your business. So, if you're a coach, a manager, or an executive...I strongly urge you get this book and use it.

| Make Money | Posted By: Jake - Comments:

I make a majority of my income from my blog and I want to help all of you to do the same (if that interests you of course.) Thousands of new blogs are started every day on the web. However, a very high percentage of those blogs never amount to anything. Only a small portion of blogs actually earn a respectable income. There is nothing wrong with simply blogging because you have a topic of interest; but wouldn't it be nice to pay your bills while you blog about what interests you?
Let me start by adding on to my previous post, AdSense Alternatives. Yes, these are a few of the best alternatives on the web to AdSense, but there are many other ways to generate cash flow from your blog.
If you are just starting out in the wonderful world of blogging, you may not know what AdSense is.... AdSense is a program run by Google. It is a program where you can place relative ads on your site that you will be paid-per-click for. AdSense is probably the most widely used program on the web, however, when you are just starting out on your website and/or blog, or if you have a wide variety of topics that you cover, Google will typically reject you from the AdSense program. Thus, you may want to consider an alternative.
eMiniMalls and Affiliate sales programs are always good to get into, although I find that they are typically a waste of blog-space due to the fact that you just don't make enough sales to make it worth doing.
First off, let me tell you that PayPerPost is one of the absolute best ways to start generating cash from your blog! I have been a blogger for PayPerPost since September of 2006 and I have made thousands from them. Pretty much any blog can be approved by them just so long as you meet their very minimal requirements. First, you must have a blog that is at least 90 days old with at least 20 posts on it. Secondly, you must not have 'nofollow' tags in your source code. (If you don't know what 'nofollow' tags are, than you probably don't have them.) The third requirement is that your blog must be indexed by Google. The way to do this for free is to add your site to their database. Then you are going to want to add it to the Google Blogsearch.
After you are approved, you can visit the 'Opportunities' page and choose up to three per day to simply post about on your blog and then submit and get paid. This is a method of controversy amongst probloggers, but I personally strongly suggest it if you want to make a few hundred extra dollars per month.
There are a few other programs on the web that are similar to PayPerPost, such as Blogsvertise and BlogFeast.
Next, as mentioned above, publishing pay-per-click ads on your site/blog is definitely the easiest way to make profit from your blog. Simply sign up for any of the programs mentioned in our Adsense Alternatives section and insert the ad-code on blog. As you can see, I have ads placed in several areas of this blog that I am paid for every single time someone clicks on one. I am currently publishing AdBrite ads, Adgenta ads, and Clicksor ads on this blog and I am displaying Bidvertiser ads on my other blog. You can get information about all of these companies, HERE.
Clicksor is very cool because they have the most attractive graphical banner ads that I have found thus far. I feel that the graphic ads are more appealing to the visitors eye.
They are all quite similar, although I have found that AdBrite seems to have the highest paying ads. AdGenta is a bit different however. Their ads are actually placed right in your posts and you can select the individual keywords that best describe each individual post. I say that the publishing of ads is the easiest way to make money because after you place the ads, they change automatically and you do nothing further other than make money.
